For SMS to do that they will need to swap the physics around for the Z4 and M3, then give the M3, Aston and Vette the same narrower tire,
 
Can anyone tell from the leaked pics if it's a 2015 model, 2016 model etc? That would pretty much settle it. GTLM cars are very different this year compared to last.

GTE's are very different this year yes, more power and more downforce. Only reason I suspect the 2015 car is because it's extremely rare for a car to be put into a game in the same year it's been upgraded or "new", in a class of factory backed machinery. Example, Aston gave us the 2014 Vantage GTE and Audi the 2014 Audi R-18 in 2015. So they'll probably give us the 2015 C7.R.

Why can't they finish out GT3, BTCC, GTE, V8 SUPERCARS and ISMA?
Come on SMS, push/ask/beg for the licensing. :confused:

Because they're dolts and focusing on PCARS 2, which, honestly, not interested.
 
Well if the rear wing is swept back on the C7.R, then it's a 2016 model, if not, then it's a 2014/2015. If I'm correct, I think it'll be a 2014

Well the 2014/2015 are identical lol. And the 2016 car has a wing over bodywork, larger diffuser, larger spliter, larger side skirts and roof hatch. :P

It's the 2014. The 2014 had a very prominant rear diffuser which was shortned for 2015, and well, the 2016 Vette isn't even the same animal!
Can't link it (the joys of using PS4 web browser) but i hope we get the 2016 Larbre Corvette livery.... much more black instead of the white and suits the car alot more imo :D

Not like I was for this game. I'd have to give it a long look, this game kinda showed the good side and bad side of SMS to me, and I kinda have an idea of what to expect in next game. And to essentially abandon your first game for your second in the way that was done, is rather off putting.

They didn't abandon it, they've released heaps of DLC. Besides you need to move onto the next game at some point.

I think people just expect too much these days. The second game will be better than the first one with extra content, what's not to look forward to?
