I see what you mean now...like they are taking the pee out of us..

I'll be honest i hate Ovals and even more so in a game as its sooooo dull to play on IMO, but if SMS said it was going to be in then retract that, that's not on at all.

I also don't see the point in oval racing. I guess it's different strokes for different folks. There are plenty of guys here who would really enjoy such content. If I had it my way with this American Dlc pack, I would exclude the Stockcar and replace it with the SRT Viper.
 
Sonoma or Watkins Glen. Could even be the slight possibility of being Road America as the lower series runs a race there every year. Quite a cool race to watch as well.

Now the burning question: Will the NASCAR have rain tires, and how well will it do in the rain?

Weird thing is i hate Ovals but the Caper stock car is such a great rewarding car to drive around 'normal' race tracks, hope the fusion is the same.

So, I hate to be that guy...

Let's discuss the next DLC.

Up till now we've had hints, a list, or promises leading up to most of these DLC. We knew we were eventually getting an Indy car, a Fusion etc. The next DLC however is possibly the first one where we've received zero scoop/ideas on what's coming.

Someone stated SMS indicated a track and a few cars ---- now's the time the guess. The easy way out for the track is to assume it's a single oval (one they got to work - even if just multiplayer), or one of the deleted historic tracks and possibly the rumored Austrian Red Bull Ring.

Car-wise, we have only the hint of the AMG GT3 from a while back, and some guesses on the alphabetical list. So, any guesses?
 
If it's worth anything, I've think Ruf allows racing versions of all their cars in this game. Thus, the Rt-12R and Yellowbird could possibly show up in racing forms?
 
@TheElbows SMS said early in the week there were new licensing issues with ovals so they may not happen. There is talk that the new real world circuit might be Red Bull Ring.

As for cars, well that is more difficult. We know the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is on the way but after that who knows? I would love to see another LMP such as the Toyota TS020 GT-one.
There seem to be no rumours about the cars at all but we may start finding out by the end of the week with some teasers.

Experience shows that people who start their posts with this sentences actually love to be that guy. :D

Jokes aside, without knowing any more than you people, I think that Red Bull Ring is a safe bet. It is the last track that is still missing where we got an accidental teaser for during development. If it isnt that, I m at loss as to what it could be. Please no more fictional stuff.

Car-wise, I just hope it is a somewhat coheisive pack. I thought for a second that they could maybe pull a Driveclub and bring an AMG pack, but there are not that many AMGs left that would be interesting for the game. Other than the street version of the GT, I cant think of any at the moment. But we will know soon enough.
 
The DLC is up and live in the online lobbies.

Edit: Just had my first go in the DW12 at Road America, first impressions are that its roughly as quick as the Dallara T12 but a lot easier to drive quickly, much more forgiving which should make it the perfect car for online racing with all the amateur drivers imo.

The only downside is that there are no liveries for the car (I would've loved it if I could've raced in Ganassi colours).
