Hey guys, worked on this a bit today, trying to get it to look right, and want to get some feedback from some people with different screens, resolution, contrast, brightness, etc.

If you guys could let me know how it looks, any other feedback, thoughts, etc. Trying to get some insight before I finalize the look and start putting tunes out. Thanks guys:

Pretend there's a header car/track etc, as those will be car specific.

The white text looks good and is easy to read. The gray not so much but if those are not adjustable then no matter. The red is a bit hard to see, may be better to use something with a higher contrast there, either a lighter shade of red or a light green or yellow. Font size looks good and is pretty clear.
I am running 1920x1080 res on 37 inch HD display.

*You are correct, the grayed out text are non-adjustable for this car. I leave them in, so the format will match across all cars, and so the bottom lines up evenly, because I'm OCD like that. :dunce:

Appreciate your help.

In GT6 I printed off and filed any good tunes e.g Praiano's also that allowed me to easily write any extra comments on the page and alter settings.

A light background makes it easier to read and to print off.

Perhaps you could include a text file version as well for the so last century people as myself ;-)? That way you keep the "pretty" looking versions for the visual effects on the forum and satisfy the old fashioned people like me.

Since I use spreadsheets, that's a rather simple fix, with 2 clicks:
Would this work?

Or are you looking for something that isn't an image, so you can copy/paste, or print directly, or...?
Although, you can no longer tell what car it's for without the image. :irked:

Both look great. I particularly like the simpler black on white one although could you still add the greyed out fields using some conditional formatting?

Also could the car title be in a field at the top maybe along with perhaps a date created/updated?

These are much better for guys who like to print them off, the other one looks better but just depletes the colour cartridge! Maybe change the colour of the headings?

Good job!

👍

Hello my friend
I'm am a felow tuner :)
I think what you doing is great job man ! Look very easy to read, I just make a suggestion for you

I Know it already say before, but I think the date MAYBE nessisary- but my reason is, I had some experience with GT, almost after all updates, I have to slight adjustment because of whatever they doing at PD in Tokyo.. ****ING UP is what they doing of you ask me... But my point is after update some of your setting(tuning) may be ruined.. Hopefully PCARS is not same in term of updating, but "NEN NO TAME" (just in case)
Sometimes a tune made in January will not be good in march (example) because of game repromaing we don't know about

Best regaurd from Japan
Keep up the good work !!

Now that would be great :-) That would be exactly what I would like to see. I am a huge fan of the KISS principle.

Great work.

Hey this looks nice!!! I created a simple one for my Tune a few days back. If you look here, I used the same template but didn't clean it yet. Didnt have time. Enjoying the game too much.

Anyway, i like it a lot.

What's up playa! Are you playing PCars on PS4 or PC?
PS4 Costco screwed up my wheel order, supposed to be here now.
Still waiting:banghead:.
Hopefully next hour.
Other than that, real good.
Nice work on both templates.
Would you mind sharing .
Big Brown truck just arrived.

Awesome, I'll shoot you a FR from my new PSN account!
What wheel did you get?

@moeom I'm glad you decided to go with the format that matches the in-game menus. I think it makes things a lot easier to input!

Yours follows the game's format too. Just put in a tighter format. Again, as you said, its to make it easier to follow and input them into the game.

Where did you upload your pics? I'm using google docs, but once i link to it, it just make things look 'off'.

Oh em gee SAMESIES! I'm sure you've done the research on the FFB settings while waiting for it to arrive, so I'll spare you, lol.

I use googledocs to create the spreadsheet, then use an image editing program to create the multi-layer sheet, then upload the picture to a hosting site: http://postimage.org/

it looks great man. The characters (font) are perfect size. Hope to see tunes from you soon.

?

A link to a Google Spreadsheet or an uploaded .xls(x) file with this format would be great. The only suggestion I have here it to put the Car Name at the top (but leave the created date at the bottom).

Speaking of tunes, has anyone posted a 'laymans' description of each of the settings. I'm not sure what LSD Preload, Longitudal Bias and a couple others are.

They do a pretty good job of describing pre-load. I have a hard time understating how tunes are saved for different cars/tracks. Strange
