It's an arcade racer, you never get every track unlocked at the beginning.

Hmm. I think tonight I'll attempt to challenge the Behemoth records. I've gotten pretty fast on it with the in-car view.

W00t! Just doing 2 laps, I was able to set 1 of the fastest times for the Behemoth. :D

Just go to PGR Nations, and look up the Behemoth Time Attack Records. #2 baby! :p

I reckon it will not last for long, so enjoy it while it lasts. :D

I got knocked down to 3rd, but I almost had first tonight. Unforunately, my 6:50 was set outside Time Attack. :(

I'm really into PGR4 and I'm loving it. The extra detail in the tracks really shows and the weather effects are brilliant.

I played this quite alot over the weekend and here are smoe good/bad points I came across.

Good points
The cars feel as if the are actually on the road (unlike CM: DIRT)
Good selection of cars
Great weather effects
Racing on difficult is challenging
Great engine sounds, especially backfire which isn't over the top
Good photomode (although it has bad points, see below)
Good variety of achievments

Bad Points
Interior views seem to be less detailed than I remember in PGR3.
The garage annoys me as you can only take pictures of your cars, no option to test drive.
I'm getting disc read errors. I checked the official 360 website and it seems to be a common problem (not specifically a fault of PGR4)
The drivers names seem to be too big. It's hard to see upcoming corners.
No option to upload saved photomode shots from hard drive (annoying).

I agree with all the good points, but im gonna swap the interior one to the good points, they do seem marginally less detailed but genereally they seem better in some way, cant put my finger on it. As with the drivers names, turn em off:p

I believe there's an option to turn those off. :)

Can I join in? Will probably just update this post as much as I can.

Got the game on the 15th but enjoying it a lot! Enjoy the pics and feedback appreciated if you can be bothered! :p

All images are from PGR4 only, no touchups or nothing, the vertical shots were rotated only using Photoshop

First pic I took when I finally got a bike in the career.

I just want to say that I think PGR4 is absolutely brilliant. Far better than Forza 2. Yes it's an arcade racer and not a sim but for me that's not the point. The point is the fun factor and PGR4 is overflowing with fun. The sheer sense of immersion within the game is fantastic. It sounds great, even better than Forza 2 and it has the best environmental graphics in any racing game I've played. I just wish I could race more than 10 laps!

I just want this game. I played the demo and I was absolutely impressed with this game. It's well balanced between arcade and simulation physics. Another thing that I enjoyed so much (in PGR3) is the competitive online mode where everyone use a stock car and everything is based on the driving skill, just like GT4.

Sims aren't as good or fun as they like to think they are. PGR is far more 'fun' than GT and to a lesser extent Forza. I have a real car for sim driving anyway.

I dunno... after playing the Pro Street demo and then playing this demo again I like this demo better than Pro Street. Maybe it's the in car cam (dunno if Pro Street will have it in the full version). Either way this game seems ok now. Graphics still suck imo then again so does Pro Street. Maybe I've just been playing too much GT5p. xD

Look at the rims... look at the interior... look at the car vs the rest of the environment.

Doesn't matter, I'll get flamed by everyone for it.

Look better then any other car game I've played, yes Test Drive Unlimited was pretty good but I think PGR4 is better...much better then Forza. Does the real reason you think it has bad graphics come from a dislike of the 360?

Huh? That's a retarded question. Of course it's because I truely think PGR4's grapahics look like crap. You said it youself, even TDU looks better. How long has it been since TDU came out? hmm... yeah

No I didn't say it looked better then TD:U. Learn to read.

The Nordschleife in the snow seen through the windscreen of a fast car...it always puts a smile on my face.
I don't feel the cars in TDU look better or worse but when the rain is on the cars in PGR4 I think they do look pretty good. Reflections and colors are good too.
Unfortunately I've not played TDU for a while so my memory is hazy. But certainly the environment in PGR4 is better.
That's my feeling anyway.
