Someone more knowledgeable than me hopefully knows this, but why is one Viper listed as a Chrysler Viper in the game, and then from the same era, different class, the next one is a Dodge Viper? Was it to do with which manufacturer officially homologated the car for entry or just an oddity?

To add to what @CalumAstro said about Chrysler/Dodge Vipers there is a fun story about Zakspeed's Viper at the Nurburgring 24 Hours and how it changed identity to try and get around a rule bought in to nerf their advantage:

I'm a little disappointed with the livery selection, especially the lack of real world paint schemes for some of the cars.
