Can't remember if this has been mentioned
Pre-order the Year 1 Bundle and receive the bonus GTE pack PLUS save up to 30% compared to buying all content separately.

Difference between base game & bundle is currently £25 on Xbox, £30 on PS5 (because why not gouge the larger userbase), so about £33-40 for the DLC if bought separately after release.

also if i'm correct from the career mode where it's all those quick blink or you'll miss section (which confirmed the mx-5 cup basically) I think there was a BMW 320 Turbo...so take that as a gain of salt...we may have gotten BMW confirmed.

We know the Capri will be coming. (since Group 5...) and the 935s (since we got the Porsche license) so I have a hunch most of the project cars 2 Group 5s will make the cut.

Some group 5 cars I hope make it in is the 320i turbo, the Carma 308 FF, the 935 k3, Greenwood Corvette, Toyota Celica LB Turbo and the Chevy Dekon Monza

Hmm, according to this guy we're narcissists if we want to wait and see if the game actually works. We should buy it anyway just to support the developers.

Where did you find that 30% off info please?

After watching a few videos of the game at the sim racing expo, it’s quite clear to me that this is a diamond in the rough.

Hoping they can fix the more glaring issues before release, but I’m not expecting a polished experience at release.

Pretty sure bmw wouldn’t allow their brand image to appear as trackside advertising if they didn’t have a licensing agreement.

I’m just hoping for McLaren and Ferrari
You can have separate licensing agreeemnts for track signage and cars.

Porsche showed up on Le Mans in loads of games when the cars weren’t in said games.

On the licencing front, could it be something to do with the mods that we might not see some brands, or that we could see everything from them?

For instance, we simply buy 'Ferrari' in the mod store for say £25 and that gets us everything the devs have made just now, and everything anyone else ever makes from the brand?

Or some brands want nothing to do with titles that offer mods? Although I think we can see from other upcoming titles that will offer mods if those brands are there or not.

Would that be because the signage is there in real life?
If I'm not mistaking, Licensing car brand logos at the track is completely seperate from the car licensing (in some cases, it comes with the track from what I remember)

Yeah that was what I was wondering, as there have been those BMW hoardings there in real life for some events but not all the time. Would it just depend when they licenced the track, what was there when it was scanned, as to what makes it into the game?

Licensing "Ferrari" - i think that we have seen the Ferrari 550 GT in early builds and the 296 GT3 was a rumour that it is in the game.

I have a feeling that wouldn't go over well with many as it could be seen as the devs "double dipping" into your pockets for DLC content that could've shipped with the game, esp. for a major brand like Ferrari. What models are we getting right away for it would matter as well.

The 2nd part is something I don't see Ferrari going along with. The cars the devs want to include (say 296 GT3, 550 GT1, 360 NGT, 512 M, F40 LM, 333SP) are going to be agreed to for a set licensing fee. But, for that agreement to include that the licensing fee to have those 6 cars then additionally includes the entire Ferrari catalogue as long as it's made by the community's hand seems wildly unlikely, esp. for the way Ferrari operates their image.

This is the brand that did allow SMS to include Fiorano, but made sure the track was only accessible to Ferraris.

Now that you're talking about Ferrari, I'll bring this message back.

The Toyota GR010 has been confirmed.

I want to believe Ferrari may be announced in some special way focusing solely on their cars.
Xbox Achievements:

GTR2 Brianza Pole – You beat BMS Scuderia Italia’s GT lap time of 1:43.509 at Brianza (Monza)

GTR2 Spa Pole – You beat BMS Scuderia Italia’s GT lap time of 2:18.864 at Spa-Francorchamps

GTR2 was based on 2004 season, that year BMS Scuderia Italia used the Prodrive Ferrari 550 GTS.

This isn't a confirmation that it will appear in the game.

There's another achievement, beat Mike Conway's time at Interlagos, and I don't think the Toyota GR010 will make an appearance.

One of the devs said they are still working on the small details of the licensing agreement. I’d expect them to have the car models ready to go at this late stage of development so hopefully all will be good
