At least they finally answered. Suspected all along it was the publisher. Regional pricing really is a load of ****.

In Canada, on the XBox storefront it's currently the most expensive base game I can find equaling most games deluxe edition, and excepting one version of Madden, far and away the most expensive deluxe edition I looked at. And Steam's not far behind. I pre-ordered on Steam before the bump but had I not I'd be out. For the record the average AAA title here is about $90, with your deluxe versions going $115-$120, PMR starts at $117 and runs up to $165 for the year one edition. Nope, not a chance.

Factory Driver Mode

Recreate iconic motorsport moments, chase real-world lap times, and leave your stamp on PMR’s global leaderboards.

What most call “Time Trial”, we’re calling Factory Driver Mode—a nod to the curated collection of legendary car-and-track pairings that will be challenging you.

With over 70 cars and 18 world-class circuits at launch, our unique roster of content allows us to mix-and-match some of the world’s most iconic sports cars with the very tracks they once called home. Designed to highlight racing history, here are a few combos you can look forward to.

  • Corvette C5.R at Daytona: intimidate the banking
  • Match Ben Collins’s time in the Lister Storm GT at Northampton: Exactly as he ran them in development
  • IMSA pole pace at Mosport in modern GT3 machinery
  • Taming the Lamborghini SC63 on the Nordschleife—yes, that cover moment
New challenges will be added regularly: no FOMO challenges here, no disappearing content.

Endurance Hall

Before online lobbies and ranked ladders, sim racers proved themselves another way: asynchronous endurance battles. The Endurance Hall is a throwback to the early years of sim racing when drivers agreed on a common AI difficulty, race length, track conditions, number of opponents, and compared total race times to find a winner.

We’re bringing that spirit back.

In Endurance Hall, you’ll take on races inspired by real-world endurance epics—150, 200, even 300-km events where strategy matters as much as speed. Sometimes replicating real-world events, sometimes bringing together a wish-list of track/class combos, these events will be a test of your endurance, skill, and racecraft.

Fuel. Tyres. Pit calls. Pace. You’ll need it all to get onto this leaderboard.

@PJTierney Have you played yet in any event ocasion or at the Sim expo?

Really itching to preorder this but we barely have any gameplay videos, at least on console.
I've never been to Sim Expo and I (at the time of writing this) don't have any early access to the game.

Strange, i just checked on ps store and it's 93.49cad for ps5 at least.
You got me spooked, even though I'll surely wait a long while anyhow, being into sp only, no hurry, wait patches and dlcs, and sales.

Really like this 👍

I’d love to take Fernando’s word, he seems like a good guy, but I have severe trust issues. Will be nice when we actually see the full final complete build with all the fixes they’ve promised.

It does look better than the previous ones, but I think it was stuff like the hypercars more than the Porsches that had issues.

Both of these sound good. The Factory Driver mode reminds me of the Moments in EA WRC. Fun. Lots of them.

And the big seller... no FOMO or disappearing content! Wonder what they're referring to there... "cough FM23 cough"

Just need to be sure that controller play will be good on this. Show me that SMS and you'll get my preorder!
