Here is quite a good video showing all the PS5 Dual shock controller settings, it has quite a lot of adjustment so I am pretty sure it should be fine for most controller players to find some settings to suit their driving.

I personally have never understood why people pre-order games, ever. Unless it's a physical pre order that can be sent back whilst still wrapped.

It's good that xbox gives refunds though. I guess I don't pre-order digitally because of Sonys policy. But with driving games especially, because I'm more than happy with GT7 and F1, I don't feel the need to pre-order racing games, as there's no real itch that needs to be scratched in that genre for me.

I do really want PMR to do really well, because I still play Project Cars 2 even now (indy 500, baby!), never touched PC3. But it's been ages since the PMR announcement, so no issue for me waiting another 6 months for it to get any and all patches that it needs.

Developers shouldn't be getting paid for games released in an unfit state. Yes I agree game devs have it hard, but they should only announce release dates for when they're ready. Any trust I used to have in games in the PS3/PS4 days has been completely eroded in the last few digitally-led years.
I agree but a lot of pressure is usually from the publishers to push the game out rather than delay it. What I like about Giants/Straight4 is they are really involved with the community like DriveClub/Evolution devs were. At least they are actively talking and listening to feedback and acting on it straight away rather than silence and nothing for months and this is very rare this gen. This makes a big difference. I don't usually pre-order but have seen enough to go ahead early and in for the long term especially with the mods on this game all for free. This will make a big difference of variety of cars and tracks, maybe even point to point road tracks, motorbikes or tractors in the future! Having enjoyed most their games since GTR through to Project Cars I will support them but totally understand those who are unsure to wait it out.

Is it possible to do the pre-install yet if you buy the ps5 version of the PSN store?
I’m sure normally you can download the game in readiness for when it releases

And regarding pre-ordering, don’t you get the LME pack for free if you pre-order?
I know it’s considered to be a faux pars to pre-order these days, but if you don’t, you’ll have to then pay for the LME pack

I’m just excited for Sebring

I believe (and could be very wrong) that there's no pre install on ps5, but if you leave your ps5 in rest mode and have your settings all done it'll download automatically overnight, which isn't the same but depending on your sleep pattern, fair enough!

Tomorrow 23rd Nov you can download it said when I Pre ordered. 👍

As an Xbox player I decided to not get this game on Day 1, I will probably wait until January at least before I decide. Let the hype die down, let a few updates/patches roll out, and hopefully more info will be rolled out by then as to what they intend to add to the game and fix next year beyond the 4 expansions we know of. There are some things I see that I like such as the car roster, good usage on the controller, deep career mode and car sounds but beyond that it looks like a work in progress. Not necessarily a bad thing but experiencing this recently from a another title, I rather just wait until things get ironed out some before I drop some money.
I think that's a wise choice if you're not desperate for it. As like you say, it is a WIP, in more ways than one.

And I'm not sure if the DLC is the only content updates we'll get in that timeframe, which would be disappointing. But on the flip side, mods could make it a special game in the long run. Things are sucky for me right now, so I'm gonna treat myself, even if I'm not desperate for it.
This video is much better and looks ok on controller too 👍
@Nismonath5 Which platform are your videos on?
The tyres overheating towards the end of the video, looks nightmareish though. Thought cold tyres were bad enough in PC2 :scared:

I preordered AC Shadows in August, game ended up being released in March lol

It's just so the money for each game is already allocated so i don't spend it on anything else.

Know what? taking a deep breath and remembering it's all about fun. Super Woden II is fun. With a small grid of cars it's fun. If mods start adding super touring cars, especially leading with the Primera and/or Accord to PMR, it's going to be even more fun.

I'll see how I go Tuesday. I'd like to get my mits on the RX-7 and 964 the most. Down the line I'd love a vintage Trans-Am pack. Maybe those cars like the Javelin and 510 will be added by mods before then. There's heaps of potential for this game.

Exactly that! I’m not expecting this game to be perfect day one but as long as its fun i’ll be happy. I’m hoping that this game gets properly supported overtime and lives up to the potential it has

as a PS5 player, the most important thing for me is the mod support, if we get a constant or semi-constant stream of cars and tracks (especially tracks) that'll be just fine
Hopefully, expect if it gets a lot of content then anyone that's holding off will be drawn in.

Sorry if it's already been shared but I liked this pinned post from their discord:

Tempted to buy a PC, there's a really nice pre-built system with a 9800x3d and a 5080 gfx card Costco are about to offer for under £1,700 but that's a lot of money.
