Here is quite a good video showing all the PS5 Dual shock controller settings, it has quite a lot of adjustment so I am pretty sure it should be fine for most controller players to find some settings to suit their driving.

I agree but a lot of pressure is usually from the publishers to push the game out rather than delay it. What I like about Giants/Straight4 is they are really involved with the community like DriveClub/Evolution devs were. At least they are actively talking and listening to feedback and acting on it straight away rather than silence and nothing for months and this is very rare this gen. This makes a big difference. I don't usually pre-order but have seen enough to go ahead early and in for the long term especially with the mods on this game all for free. This will make a big difference of variety of cars and tracks, maybe even point to point road tracks, motorbikes or tractors in the future! Having enjoyed most their games since GTR through to Project Cars I will support them but totally understand those who are unsure to wait it out.I personally have never understood why people pre-order games, ever. Unless it's a physical pre order that can be sent back whilst still wrapped.
It's good that xbox gives refunds though. I guess I don't pre-order digitally because of Sonys policy. But with driving games especially, because I'm more than happy with GT7 and F1, I don't feel the need to pre-order racing games, as there's no real itch that needs to be scratched in that genre for me.
I do really want PMR to do really well, because I still play Project Cars 2 even now (indy 500, baby!), never touched PC3. But it's been ages since the PMR announcement, so no issue for me waiting another 6 months for it to get any and all patches that it needs.
Developers shouldn't be getting paid for games released in an unfit state. Yes I agree game devs have it hard, but they should only announce release dates for when they're ready. Any trust I used to have in games in the PS3/PS4 days has been completely eroded in the last few digitally-led years.
