Can we ask for a proof about your work then?

The guy on Twitter never asked for any help with the game.

Are we really going to pretend these people were blocked for reporting issues? 😂

Going to be honest I didn’t actually know that. But that is a pretty awesome meme and I’m going to save that for the next launch.

Also to be fair I said they had an issue with the game, not constructive feedback lol. Blocking anyone on launch day who’s critical of you is a bad look either way imo.

I agree with that. A better response would have been Ian asking which issues the twitter follower experienced and let him know how they plan to address those issues. At least based on the Twitter profile, the person seems like they are a racing game dev, and maybe should have been more professional, as well as Ian.

Just watched a video on YouTube. It was measuring fps on Series X. In the rain it was constantly under 50fps but then with other cars near it went down to 36fps. It was all over the place.
How can 4 years of development not given us a stable 60fps game. These consoles have much more power than when Pcars 1 and 2 were made

Tried on XSX. Refund requested.

What a joke. It's unacceptable to launch a product in this state.

The only redeeming feature is the sound.

I started trying the MX-5, Corvette C5R and 787B.

Making an effort to ignore all the bad things, to be honest it wasn't too bad with those.

But then I tried the 9X8 and the Praga Bohema... and it became clear to me that it was unplayable.

Maybe in the future after several updates it could be a good product, but for now it needs a lot of work to become anything decent.

He tells a story in this where he tried a GT4 car at one of the pre-release press events, gave them some feedback about where the physics were a bit off compared to his real life experiences, and the S4S representative basically dismissed his feedback and implied they knew better (bear in mind everyone knows Broadbent is a real life GT4 driver).

I'm not surprised this is being received the way it is if that's their reaction to genuine feedback from a known source.

I honestly can’t wait for Giants Software to close in a year and a half and Bell and his boys to go form another studio that somehow gets injected enough capital to fund another broken and half finished racing sim called “Project Motor Cars” or something.

How Bell and his team have suffered through so many disastrous launches and seemingly learned nothing over the years is kind of nuts to me.
Exactly this. I will never touch another SMS/Straight4 game with a stick. It is just the same game, same content, same unfinished mess, even the good things (sound for example) are just rehashes of their old titles over and over again. They keep playing the GTR old glory card and refuse to learn from their mistakes or adress the weaknesses of their games and this will not change as long as the same people are in charge. * shrugs *

I mean look at Ian Bells reaction tweet. "Every game we release gets panned." No kidding, I wonder why LOL.

MS8
Reinstalled Project cars 2 - i'm curious about the comparison.
Please don't forget to put it in quality mode and play in the evening in zolder... So it can be compared with zolder on the project motorsports.
It's really a disappointment.
I truly hope it was just small bugs that would be fixed.

This answer made me laugh 🤣
If I remember correctly, GT7 has a description of the FFB settings, and I think F1 25 does too.
Bro, what 😭😭😭 there's no-- I refuse to believe that not a single person on the team couldn't figure out how to make it work or add a foolproof description box ala Microsoft Explorer or Codies F1. There's no way.

Absolutly shocking, but sadly not supprised. The replays are an embarrasment frankly, its almost like one big trolling from Ian Bell. It is so lazy, AI 100 percent just makes them stupid fast on straights but still slow around corners, thats not what i'd expect in 2025. TC isn't acting anywhere near real TC, its a joke and i refunded before 2 hours...
When i got PCars 1 all those years ago i was on xbox, and yes it was flawed but there was nothing like it on consoles, i could spend time messing with all the FFB settings, got involved in learing set ups... then i moved on to PC and a new world opened up, now in 2025 there is so much i can use on PC so why in Gods name would i invest any time fiddling with PMR.
Ian will make a packet from this as he always does, he won't care, but he isn't getting my cash this time...

Just had a little time playing a Race Weekend in the 787B and first impressions are very positive. Did a few laps on Spa and it sounded mesmerising, even better than GT and Forza. The handling wasn't an issue. I would say it felt quite similar to GT's 787B but a bit more "sim-like" I only changed a couple of settings and only once did I slightly fishtail off track but that was my fault for
being a little too trigger happy on the throttle.

Graphics wise, Forza and GT are definitely better but I kind of expected that. Giants and S4 dont have the budgets of Turn 10 and Polyphony Digital. I love how you can also adjust the cockpit POV to your specs. Perhaps I will find flaws and problems further down the line but so far, no regrets preordering 👌

Ok here's the my million dollar question for those who have some playtime, which racing game came out crappier on launch, FM23 or PMR? 😎 Im curious

Dagnabbit, man. All they had to do was mask the game as a way more graphically superior PC2 and get flak for that. Instead they tried to rewrite the Sim book. Maybe they should stop buying eggs for their face and invest in meat and potatoes.
I reinstalled Ace Combat 7 for something else to play between that and GT7 before the new content next week.

I haven't played it, but from all these comments and what the team is doing on socials, I would say PMR.

With Motorsport, there was open communication between T10 and the community and they were able to iron out most of the issues after launch.

Thing is, I don't know why there's so much negativity surrounding PMR. I've only scratched the surface but so far, it's a great game. FM23 was definitely a bit of a mess when first released. Especially the AI and that annoying female commentator constantly saying "Well done, P20" 🤣 Just kept saying to the monitor "stfu"!!!! I like the barebones aspect of PMR far better.
