Did I miss a flash sale?

If not, where would Google even get the £23 figure from, metadata somewhere, AI hallucinations?

Would have thought they'd have plenty stock with all the returns..

What a disaster. Apparently you aren’t able to request a refund for a game older than 90 days. I preordered in June. But surely as it launched today I should be eligible. That’ll teach me for pre-ordering.

Wow. Release day has been crazy. Orginally I was going to wait to buy then I got excited and i thought about pre ordering but luckily for me I had other responsibilities so I decided against that. So now I will wait for a few months maybe by June it should be better.I guess I will keep playing Where Winds Meet until Spec III drops.

Well, I've only driven 2 cars so far, both GT4 class

Supra was a nightmare under braking,
M4 was significantly more stable and easier to drive

It's way to early to make any conclusions from my experience because I'm barely an average sim racer.

Onc think for sure, when you start a practice session on could tires, you will most certainly not be able to throw it around. They really nailed that. You got to take your time to get them warm

Graphics not great
Not loving the fact that there's only 1 cockpit view.

It is adjustable but I hate it because I'm PC2 there are 3 different cockpit views and they all had a place depending on the car used.

My force feedback was terrific. I use the GT DD Pro and just played it on the same setting that I do project cars 2. Have an adjusted anything and it feels very good

I've only raced with the MX-5, the old 911, and the GT3 Lamborghini, and I've had good impressions regarding inertia and braking.
At first, after recently playing PC2, I felt really out of sorts; now you have to keep the car on the track, and it's not as forgiving.
I was worried about wheel lock-up and other issues I saw in videos of people playing without ABS, but it's actually quite intuitive, and with a little practice, you know exactly how far to push the throttle to avoid flat-spotting the wheel.
I'm really looking forward to trying more vehicles; I'm loving the MX-5 and the Porsche. What's bothering me is that I can't get into ranked races because I keep getting error 44.

Never understand why so many people (not here really) seem to take such delight in the game not being good. I just feel a bit sad.

All hope pinned on the upcoming GT7 DLC now. This looked like a really intriguing couple of months at the end of ‘25 with Rennsport and this coming out and both have been very badly received. It’s just depressing. Can somebody please just get it right?

Only 16% positive reviews on steam, thats not a good look. So far the lowest rating racing game i ever seen on the steam platform.
I’m banned from the discord but I heard from a friend that it’s a complete disaster. So glad I didn’t preorder it. Cocky bunch of devs on that discord. Could read right through their BS and held back my preorder with the dlc for $135. Thank god.

After bumping the res back up to 4K and then disabling whatever FidelityFX Super Resolution thing that was on, it actually looks good/on par with PC stuff in my mind. The framerate is about the same as well. So not sure whats up with that.

Trying the Saleen S7, the default FFB was again super light and not much there. Just turning up the Strength setting in the car setup kinda fixed it for me. Went from 1.00 to about 1.50 setting I think.

Also noticed the Mosler MT900 is in the game and I just happened to see one of these a few weeks ago lol Apparently one of the few road legal ones in the world? 🤷‍♂️ I tagged along with the person who was filming the car, then we sort've but not quite went on a little drive together.

I seen that as well. So many people jumped on the hypetrain and it was going to kill other racing games on console. Those people is very quiet now.

Almost wonder if they were undercover S4 devs. They sure acted like hardcore fanboys. Nothing wrong with supporting a game but to do so blindly?

Ok here's the my million dollar question for those who have some playtime, which racing game came out crappier on launch, FM23 or PMR? 😎 Im curious
PMR 100%. On the Forza forum they answered lots of issues. Also Forza was perfectly playable on launch . The thing that angered most PC users was Mr Isaki promised the world but he lied. I still play Forza to this day. I’m almost Prestige 4

It doesn't help that Ian Bell is not well liked. I think if he didn't hype things so much maybe folks wouldn't happy to see the game fail? I am sad also. It is easy to jump Ian Bell but what about the S4 employees who aren't devs but worked hard on this game? Unfortunately they have to catch strays for their leader

I have no doubt all the employees worked hard on this game. I wish I knew how to make games.

It's sad that I'm sitting in my racing chair, contemplating playing PC2 or FMS

After not playing FMS for several months, I tried it a few weeks ago and was blown away how much better it was.

I refrained from playing it more (I really wanted to) because I just figured that PMR was right around the corner and it would render any progress i might makes with FMS moot.

That I'm even contemplating playing one of those two games makes me sad,

I won’t have a chance to play this until tomorrow and now with some trepidation unfortunately, luckily I have the astonishing AC Rally to tide me over 😁

I’m massively disappointed about the game. I had all my hopes pinned on this game for console with a controller. I’m hoping someone finds some magic controller settings. I so hope a few updates make it playable on a controller.

Man, don't be sad. It's the first damn day. AC came out and they changed the physics all over the place until it got to be one of the best. iRacing has been called iceRenting for a reason. AMS2 came out and they changed the physics until it was wonderful.
Stop listening to the whiney brats. After a few months, if nothing changes, lets start complaining. Unfortunately this is the state of sims released today.

Such as 🔽whiney brat alert below🔽

When people are used to Ian Bell lying through his teeth time and time again, its vindicating to see when said new games turn out garbage. Unfortunately it still doesnt stop people lacking in general intelligence from falling for the bluster again and again.
