You will first need to answer if you have played Project CARS 2 on controller. And how your experience was on it. The answers will be relative to this.
hmmm i’m not sure. I have played pc2 and pmr on controller and i’d would say pmr is a better experience

because it was unbearable on controller, im bored of gt7 and miss the dyamic weather that was good In Pcars
Many other posters in this thread share the same opinion as DapperDan07 above: the controller support is better than in Project CARS 2.

I don’t have Project Motor Racing yet, but I’ve been following this thread closely because I plan to buy it eventually. Project CARS 2 felt horrible on a controller for me even after tweaking a lot. I actually find both Assetto Corsa Competizione and Le Mans Ultimate easier to play with a controller.

Also, please note that there is no dynamic weather in Project Motor Racing’s career mode. At least not as far as I know as of today.

Hi, can anyone tell me if this game worth a buy or is it too bad. I have ps5 pro and want to play on dual sense.
If you enjoy using the sticks for steering, you should be ok. I’m used to the motion control with the triggers used for the brakes and throttle, and I hate the sticks. I’m hoping for an update to be able to remap the controller.

Is it just me or is the game crashing a lot more than usual after the latest patch?
yes, i've been getting a crash on an hourly basis since the patch. Starting to piss me off now.

Does anyone know what the optimum tire temperatures and pressures are for modern tyres?
All i have to go on for now was a post from Ian Bell saying that optimum tyre temp is green bars with a hint of orange, but i'd like some figures ideally.

I'm hoping Traxxion or Overtake (or someone else) do a video on PMR setups/tuning soon.

I've had one crash since the patch after a custom race weekend on Derby.

Having fun with career mode, AI does need to be a bit less rigid, if you bump them you tend to get bounced off and end up spinning whilst they just stick to their line, but they are infinitely more racey than they were pre-patch.

One minor niggle also is the Nurburgring 24hr track, comes up early in career mode if you choose the 964 Trophy, 4 laps. However, for qualifying, which is a 10 minute session, you have to do 2 whole laps just to get a Q time, and that isn't enough in things like the 964. What happened to games having the cones at the final turn for the GP circuit so you just do an outlap on the GP circuit and do a timed flying lap without having to do a whole Nordschleife outlap?

out of interest, is it possible to change the difficulty in Career Mode once you've started it? (i.e. in between races?)
Edit: it's okay, i've just taken a look and can see they are greyed out, i wonder if it can be changed after each championship.

I was looking forward to the Career Mode prior to release, but it's so bare bones that i can't really bring myself to play it. Glad you're enjoying it though. I tried an NGT championship but the Marcos' are too quick so it's pretty unbalanced.

Also, as it let's you start with a bigger budget of 2mill, starting with a lower budget just for the sake of it seems a bit pointless, but i will definitely give it another go soon as at the moment i'm just moving from one car class and location to the next in Race Weekend (i'm too spoiled for choice i think after having played so much ACC which just has a couple of car classes) and not really learning anything.

I believe the general guideline is 26psi and between 75 and 100c? But yes, some better explanations in game and a guide would be very nice.

That's about right. I can say that all the cars need to have the pressures raised. Some a lot. If you see that the wear on your tires is happening to the inside and outside of the tire but the middle bar is still longer, that means you have under pressured tires and the middle is sagging in. The cars really come alive and gain grip when you set up the pressures correctly.

Surely if the middle part of the tyre is sagging in, then the middle line would be shorter.
If the middle is longer then that signifies an over inflated tyre
A least that's how it works in ACC

That's not how it works. It's not showing you the pressures, it's showing you the wear.

So if i see the external piece with no changes, the middle a bit shorter, the inside two bits shorte, it means im wearing the inside and should therefore change the camber?

You can change the camber. I sometimes like to run less than the default 3 degrees that they seem to put on every car.
However, that's just how race car tires wear for the most part, running any amount of camber is going to wear the inside more than the outside. The most important part is getting the pressure right in the tire so that the 3 bars make an even slope. The middle bar shouldn't be above or below the two outer bars by a lot.
Typical GT car tire pressures are around 26-27 psi when up to temp.
