I'm finding that the physics are somewhat better than in ACC ( and I never thought I'd say that lol ), when you drive the GT3 they're not quite as on rails like in ACC, they move around that little bit more in corners and under braking which I feel is a bit more realistic and also when you spin the car, the tyres bite into the tarmac better. In this little clip, if I'd been in ACC the car would have rotated about 3 times but in PMR it bites and can be controlled

I've had that numerous times but for some reason, even though it says heavy damage, the car drove perfectly, don't know if I you can have just visual damage or not
Seems like the damage models almost never been recognized on PMR regardless of the heavy or light damage models. Gran Turismo 7 and Sport also lacked damage completely, both mechanical and visual damage, whilst Gran Turismo 6 even has light mechanical damage and body damage with mods applied.

A few hours with the game, and ive got to say im very disappointed - i thought the time was right with update 2.0 and it being in the sale at £30...im glad i didnt pay full price! I thought there would be some things it has 'over' GT7,but for me,it doesnt. Graphics are a lot worse - its like a PS4 game compared to GT7..where is that lovely lens flare and lighting they had in the first Pcars?!......sounds are worse, which im surprised at,as i loved the rawness of the original Pcars games - and i hear 'clipping' in some of the engines.

But for me the worse thing is collisions, which is making races unplayable - you just tap an AI car and it gets thrown around like a toy car - why is that happening? Then you spin easily, with damage to your car after the first bit of contact (why cant you set damage to visual only in career?!) ...the amount of races ive had to restart after the first corner is unreal...

Also, the track selection isnt great - where are the classic British tracks like Oulton Park that were in the first Pcars games?

100% are 👽 on this combo probably more like 120% where as Takimiya 100% was more like 75% Anyway Check it, I hit 2 pretty perfect laps and the front 2 are dust 👽

I am struggled to even got a perfect lap on Nordschleife even using the Z GT500.

True. Project Motor Racing also lacked many iconic Tracks from TOCA Race Driver I to 3.

Has the damage system been altered. In this clip of a multiplayer lobby I get absolutely T-Boned, it tells me I've got heavy damage but afterwards the car drove the same as before. It's as if the damage has been limited to visual only. Before the latest update, your cars steering would be off amongst other things.

Interesting video from Michi. If you don't know who Michi is, he is someone very respected in the e-sports scene. He has some interesting thoughts on the game's physics (spoiler he thinks their good). You can find his setups in game.

If he is giving feedback to S4S, they have someone with a good amount of knowledge across multiple titles and different car classes (most Hypercars, but other classes as well) to rely on.

So i bought PMR last week in physical edition (who has the GTE pack included on the disk) for 40€ on xbox and so far its kinda underwhelming, especially when i started the career mode with the mx5 cup why there is a career race on sebring with heavy rain at night with this car ? awful...also the car love to send off itself when breaking.

I thought the track limit on Forza was bad but oh boy here its worse and the AI is too fast at 75% for me.

i tried N-GT cars and it was nice to drive.

I thought 6 month was enough but no,the game need more time in the oven.

No, it is still not finished but there is stuff that makes me more happy than ACC or GT7. The N-GT class is good fun and the Porsche Cup is nice, too.

Good to hear that I am not the only one who is far away from 100% AI. It depends on the car class but around 80 is my sweet spot at the moment: qualifying in the upper half, sometimes even first row and close racing.

Agreed,ACC wasn't for me either and im bored with forza,so maybe i should restart the career mode using the carrera cup instead.

The same Devs who said to Jimmy broadbent that he doesn't know how an M4 gt4 feels while Jimmy was literally competing with the same car in real life lol

I can't run more than 70% in most classes. There's some things I haven't tried since the last two updates, LMDh, Mazda Cup, Group 5, etc. But I had to bring all the numbers way down after update 1.6.

Interesting. I guess this is why i’m getting an error message when trying to access MultiPlayer saying i need to update, even though the update is not yet available

Being on ps5 and dual sense my first impression is sound seems better, frames and scenery are more stable(but still some lingering stutter coming into/out of corners),gamepad feel might be tweaked, however if steering wheel is turned on it still doesn't rotate fully at speed or 1:1 when you make a quick correction so I actually turn it off and adjust the view a bit closer to the dash to get a more natural view in car.

Im still experimenting but atm I'm using these:
Deadzone-1
StrSat-100
PadSens-90
LckScl-100
The cars/slip angles feel very natural in the game at least as I can compare to AC and ACC. I can't properly judge without a real setup but I am impressed by it.

The game is included in this weekends free game trials until sunday if you have a xbl sub

Installing it on my Xbox as we speak. I was considering getting this game a few months ago but then waited to see what the first DLC was about, which GT500 is fine for me. Still didn't buy it yet though lol. Seems like the game is still needing some tweaks that would keep me more hooked.
