First and foremost, the point of this thread is not to pit Prologue vs. rFactor... they're both very different and very good at what they do. What I'd like to point out is how I'm still (after months of play) very impressed by Prologue's physics on pro settings. I was reminded of this again this week when I downloaded a Corvette C6 mod for rFactor. The in-car view and overall feel of the car was extremely comfortable, and I give credit to Prologue and the many, many laps in the Corvette Z06 I've run to date. Prologue, while by no means perfect, holds up pretty darn well against a very highly rated mod on a well regarded PC sim (at least in my book
).
So, for those that have played Prologue, check out this clip and see if it seems eerily familiar. For those that don't have Prologue yet... there's plenty of vids of the Z06 on the web to compare to if you're interested. Keep in mind that the Z06 (Prologue car) is a beefed up version of the stock C6 (the rFactor mod Vette). I'm also running with no assists and stock tires in this clip.
Anyways, just thought I'd throw that out there for discussion.
For anyone who also has rFactor, try the C6 mod out (it really is truly fantastic) and see if you feel the same way.
