For those on the East Coast that don't have it, they are giving them away free at the NY International car show. It has some new stuff I haven't seen in Prologue...a different variation of GC w/ road tarmac but shortened and some different replay views. It's definitely worth the trip.
 
Are you serious?! I'd pay the 12 bucks just for that demo! Do you know if they will continue to offer it?

Edit: Check the admission price on the site www.autoshowny.com/ Went up 2 bucks since last year hehe
 
You know what I say to that... all you guys on the east coast suck ass then! :banghead: j/k They'd never do something like that here. :irked:
 
If anyone's going, could he/she pic a copy for i? ;)

I'll pay shipping and stuff.
 
This could mean good and bad news :

1. GT-P could be developped and sold as NTSC for the USA (to the example of GT-P PAL in Geneva)
2. Point 1 could be done to keep the customer quiet with a new delay for the real game in mind.
 
I think Sony have really missed a trick by not releasing GTC or GTP in the NTSC zone actually I find it hard to believe.


Oh well 18th May the posty should be knocking on my door with my copy of GTP :)
 
I will try to go to the auto show today. Let's see if I can snag a couple copies with a bunch of friends.. hehehe
 
It only had two Toyota cars, the triathion car & the Prius...Prios? I forgot how you spell it. Also, it only has two tracks...GC and Fuji. They should have some extra copies, just go early. If you do, go down-stairs they have the Subaru pod demo w/ the hydraulics...I didn't get to try it out cause they didn't have it turned on. You have to pay $1 to play though.
 
They're giving the copies away, bu charging you to have a go there. Thats really stupid if you ask me.
 
i got a copy at the show. its very good, ive been playing it alot. its a wierd demo though as all the tracks have time limits. the subaru machines were pretty cool yet the line was too long to go on

You're not paying to see the demo, your paying to see all the new cars. I didn't even know that the the demo was there and I paid $12. It was just a nice suprise :)

The Triathlon car is pretty cool...I like the way they show it raise its ride height when it goes on uneven roads. I have Prologue but was too lazy to get all golds to unlock this car.

Yeah, but I don't have the patience to play w/ the Prius. I love playin w/ the MPH gauges though. KM/H in Prologue was a pain in the a$$.

I missunderstood you,I thought you meant the demo but you meant Subaru machine with the hydrolics.
 
so you play the subaru hydraulics thing then you get the demo after paying a dollar?

no no no....
you get the demo for free at the toyota booth which is up stairs.

when you go downstairs the subaru booth has the hydraulics racer. i dont know how much it costs because i didnt go on it (long lines)

Could someone who could obtain the demo-disk, please let us know if it is possible to use the right analog stick for throttle/braking?

And if possible ... tell with which steering wheel he/she played?

I have the demo. You can use the right analog stick for throttle/braking. Didn't use a steering wheel, but in the options menu it mentions the GT Force and GT Force Pro. This is such a tease, makes me want GT4 more.
