A search only revieled "propellerheads" to be in three threads, so I've decided to make one just for them. What really excellent music. There are few albums in my collection that I can throw in the player and let them play through. Ok so this isn't one of them but it does come close. Decksanddrumsandrockandroll ... good stuff.

Yeah, Propellerheads are excellent. But you have to be in the mood for them. My review of DecksandDrumsandRockandRoll is here.

Their stuff is very clever, and very textured. I love some of their harder stuff, like Bang On!, which just rocks. I haven't actually listened to it on the revitalised stereo yet, will need to do that over the Christmas period.

Loud, if you like Propellerheads, try Dead Elvis by Death in Vegas, How to Operate With a Blown Mind by The Lo-Fidelity Allstars, and also What's that Noise? by Coldcut. The Coldcut album will be difficult to get hold of, I suspect. You may also wish to inspect the output of Skint Records, but that may be pushing the Brithop thing a bit too far.

Ahhhh ... thank you for the information. I'll check out their availability soon.

Back to maximum volume ... no wait, I'm at work. DRAT!

I've heard som Propellorheads on the college station to which I always listen, but I don't recognize any of the specific songs. But I remember hearing songs I like, and then having the DJ back-announce "That was the Propellorheads..."

ah, the propeller heads. some of their stuff is very very interesting. and yeah, shoot me, but I just LOVE history repeating. yeah yeah, their most known song blah blah, I know, you cant deny it is incredibly cool. and yeah, decksanddrumsandrockandroll is really cool!!!
