Pros: Looks like a stock 5-series, but can haul ass! 500hp can really drive the giant body.
Cons: Too big of a car to compete with the Vipers and Vettes.

Next car: Porsche Carrera GT

Porsche Carrera GT!

Pro: Drop dead gorgeous! Perfect performance! 0-60 in 3.3 second, and the ¼ at 11.2 sec @ 132 mph! That is head shattering performance, to go along with its gorgeous body! It has Major standard accessories: power windows and locks; remote locking; A/C; cruise control; tilting and telescoping steering wheel!

Power: 605 hp @ 8000 rpm
Torque: 435 lb-ft @ 5750 rpm
Redline: 8400 rpm

Con: I cannot really find any, beside the fact that it cost a lot!

Next car: Mitsubishi Evolution VIII MR

Mitsubishi Evolution VIII MR

Pros: FAST!!!!!!!! It's a supercar for only a mere fraction of the price. 0-60 in 4.3s, 70.8mph slalom, 0.97g skidpad rating, affordable for the level of performance offered, will obliterate anything in it's price range. It's engine also has lots of hp left in it for tuners. This car was born to race.

Cons: It's stiff ride makes it undesierable as a daily driver for some. It's interior may let some people down due to a lack of amenities.

Next up: Acura/Honda NSX

I am using the 2002 Honda NSX-R, the fastest model of the NSX, instead of the base NSX.

The NSX-R is the best and fastest JDM production super car of all time. Its one hell of a car, maybe even if it is a tad overpriced. The NSX-R posted a time on Nurburgring of 7 minutes and 56 seconds, which is exactly the time of the Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche 996 Turbo, and the Corvette Z06!

Pros: One of the quickest Japanese cars you can get. It is very light (2800lbs) and with the mid-ship layout its one hell of a handling car! Because of Japanese rules and regulations, the engine could not be upgraded from the 280 bhp of the 'standard' NSX. Honda engineers thus had to look for other ways of improving the performance. Weight reduction is what they went for and they managed to get the curb weight down by 70kg. For the NSX-R Honda applied new aerodynamic technologies to achieve a high level of stability and control.
For the moment, the NSX-R is only available in Japan.

Cons: This NSX is overpriced! It only has 3.2 liters with natural aspiration V6, and cost around $ 90,000, for that price you can get much better performance. It could use either a V8 (wouldn’t be that much fun killing other V8 with a V8 ;) ) or some sort of Force Induction. Maybe turbocharging this bad boy, or supercharging it. Although Natural Aspiration would be more fun!

The reason this car can’t have 280hp is because of the regulation but now that there is no more regulation they can easily make a replacement for the NSX with more power such as the HSC. But there are rumors about it being axed.

GREAT CAR!!

Next car: Dodge Viper (any year, you chose.)

Pros: Powerful truck engine in a nice body. fast.

Cons: err........trucked engined supercar? I can't get it here.

Next: Ferrari 360 modena

Ferrari 360 Modena

Pros: Fast, beautiful, sexy, and has arguably the best sounding engine ever.

Cons: Too expensive. 911 Turbo's are better for much less money.

Next Car - BMW M5

-Mark

BMW M5

Pros: Fast car, yet very luxurious and makes an excellent daily driver (if you can afford the fuel), and it can make a great sleeper car. The ultimate combination of speed and luxury.

Cons: Expensive, many other cars can outperform it, looks like a normal 5 series to the untrained eye.

Next up: 2005 Ford Mustang GT

2005 Mustang

Pros: One of the few "retro" styled cars that actually looks good. From what I remember it's putting up good numbers as well. Track version I think is also pretty mean.

Cons: Um, not here yet?

Next Car: First Generation DSMs (Eagle Talon/Plymoth Laser/Mitsubishi Eclipse) Turbo charged.

1st gen DSM

Pros: Cheap, fast, AWD handling

Cons: Not many clean ones out there left ; can you say "crank walk"?

Next: '05 Cheverolet Monte Carlo SS

The 2005 isn't out yet, but I can do the 2004:

Pros: these things are quiet, among the quietest cars I've ever driven (seriously) though I drove an LS. Power is okay on the LS, so it must be better than okay on the SS. Styling is boring, a "pro" in today's world where "radical" is "ugly" every time.

Cons: Entering and exiting the rear seat isn't easy, but if you want easy, get an Impala. Resale value is poo, though that's not so bad if you're looking used, right? And of course, the Accord and Solara are probably better vehicles. The Monte Carlo is very American - some will want that, some will live with it, and some won't have it.

Next: Mercedes G55 AMG

M5Power
Next: Mercedes G55 AMG

Pros: A 5.5L V8 with 349hp and 387lb-ft! The G55 AMG is the king of luxury SUVs! The styling looks great and its handbuilt! Go-anywhere capability and from what I have heard/read it is a surprisingly quiet ride on the highway.

Cons: The price ($94,170.00), heavy steering and accelerator pedal efforts, no side airbags, fussy navigation system, minimal cargo capacity.

Next car: Honda S2000

S2000

Pros: best sports car powertrain in the world for 30k; minimalist nature ; track car in a box

Cons: a sitting duck under 6,000 rpm; loud and uncomfortable on long trips; minimalist nature; they're going to stop making them

Next: Volkswagen R32

Volkswagen R32

Pros: Turns and stops on a dime, lightweight short wheelbase also makes it good for city driving, great acceleration for a hatchback and not too bad on fuel either. An outstanding autocross car.

Cons: Underpowered compared to similarily priced cars (WRX STi, Mitsu Evo), looks like a regular Golf GTI, slightly overpriced? Some people may not like the harsh ride either.

Next up: Toyota Scion xB

And I'm curious, is the Monte Carlo FF?

xB

Pros: Many options to choose from, Inexpensive, good MPG
Cons: Lackluster Engine, Looks like a refrigerator on wheels :indiff:

Porsche Boxter

And I'm curious, is the Monte Carlo FF?

Yes - in reality, it's merely an Impala coupe.

Event Horizon
Porsche Boxter

Pros: handling and, to be honest, fuel economy. EPA rates the base model at 20/29 with the manual transmission, great for a vehicle that does 0-60 in 6.6 seconds.

Cons: Nobody has ever spelled "Boxster" correctly (Box - ster! Not Box-ter, even if that's how you say it!), it's expensive (350Z), low on standard features for $42600.

Next: Kia Sedona! :D

Next: Kia Sedona! :D

I know how to spell "boxster!"

Kia Sedona? Alrighty...

THE ATTACKS OF THE MINIVANS!!

Pros: Cheaper than most other Minivan out there, roomy interior, comfortable seats, and lengthy warranty coverage.

Cons: 3.5-liter V6 that generates 195 horsepower. Gas Mileage, styling (opinion), weight (one of the heaviest minivan out there), acceleration is awful and missing a few key minivan features.

Bottom line: A van for people on a budget!

Since we are on Minivans, Next car: Honda Odyssey

I normally spell it Boxster, but that was a typo... :(

BlazinXtreme
Pro: Pretty fast, its a suped up Mustang, rare, old muscle, Shelby name plate

Con: One of the most over rated muscle cars out there as of right now. Thank you Gone in 60 Seconds. Every kid that saw that movie wanted that car after that movie. So they could call it Elenor. I've definalty seen people that said they could beat Ferriar's with theres  and they were only 12  So you can see why I must say this.

Next Car: Hmmm lets be evil here.....Pontiac Vibe.

You mean the current? Sadly, yes :guilty:

The old ones are RWD though, the 1970-1988 Montes. Then it was discontinued then production resumed in 1995 (I think) styling was updated to that NASCAR look in 2000. I heard they might play around with the CTS platform (Sigma?) for the 2007 or 2008 Monte...

Sadly yes?! The '05 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged is the fastest, best-handling Monte Carlo ever built from the factory!

Then that do not say much about the Monte Carlos SS Supercharged. It has 240hp with 280 lb-ft of torque but its heavy! 3448lbs with the supercharged 240hp engine does 0-60 in around 6.7 sec. and the 1/4 at 15.3 sec @ 93.0mph. For its class there is a lot better car with better performance such as the Accord V6!

It is a FWD, and the handling is not very good. Maybe it is the best handling Monte Carlos but that do not say much for the Monte Carlos SS name. It did the skid pad with 0.85 g and that is not bad.

I would take the Accord V6 over this Monte Carlos SS because of not only performance but also looks. The SS look horrible!

Aside from its look, another thing that sucks about the SS Supercharge is the price! With a top of the line Monte Carlos SS Supercharged, it would go around 28K-32K.

Another thing is that it only has a 4 speed Automatic transmission, I would enjoy it much better with a 5 or 6 speed Manual transmission.

That is what I think of the Monte Carlos SS Supercharged but it is mainly opinion beside some of those facts in there.

I'll move on to my favortie minivan to date: Ford Freestar

I dislike this Ford Freestar, for some reason.

Pros: Passenger and cargo room.

Cons: Fuel economy, steering/handling/braking, and better vans for the money.

Bottom line: The Ford Freestar can't rival the Honda Odyssey or the Toyota Sienna. They both offer better bang for your buck. Along with the Nissan Quest, and the Dodge Caravan.

Next car: MazdaSpeed Miata (Turbocharged)

Sadly yes?! The '05 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged is the fastest, best-handling Monte Carlo ever built from the factory!

Say what you will, some Saturn SUV is still quicker than it.

Not sure which one.

It's "Supercharged SS" by the way. Which is funny because it shows exactly how much thought GM threw into this one. Rather than get off their asses and make the models base, LS, and SS like the Impala, they threw "Supercharged" into the top-range model and did nothing to the others. I think the only GM employees who would be caught dead in a Monte Carlo are the factory workers...

Next car: MazdaSpeed Miata (Turbocharged)

Pros: It's quick.

Cons: It's $300 more than an automatic RX-8 and $1200 less than the full-fat RX-8 6-speed. Though it's still way cheaper than the Elise. But if you want a performance Mazda wouldn't you rather shake the Miata's girly image and find the $1200 for the RX-8? If not, get a used Miata and throw some performance parts on it or something - I think the MazdaSpeed Miata is a bad buy.

Next: Subaru Baja. Yum

Alright

Subaru Baja Turbo :)

Pro: It has an available Turbo model. AWD, and has an available 5 speed manual transmission! 2.5L 210hp with 235 ft lb of torque. Although I think the real output of this Baja is more than what's it claim. Just like the Forester. A lot of cargo room.

Cons: Are better cars for the price. The Subaru Forester is an all around better buy, Its quicker and looks better, while the price is almost Identical. Not all that great looking.

Bottom line: I would not choose this car if I had 25K to spend.

Next car: BMW 3 series.

BMW 3 Series

Pros: Very attractive styling, good handling, decent fuel mileage, lower 3 series models are fairly affordable, plenty of options available, great interiors

Cons: Somewhat Sluggish acceleration (I'm sure the fastest 3 series have high 6 or low 7 0-60 times, lower 3 series are just plain slow), high end models are very expensive, lacks features on base models

Next: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

And as for the SS, the car has to be FR, I don't care if it's got 0.85g on the skidpad, an FF performance sedan just won't hold up against an FR or 4WD sedan. The only FF car that works for performance purposes in my opinion is a short wheelbase hatchback, like the Golf, Mini, or CRX.

BMW 3-series

Pros: best handler in the class, looks good, available SMT if you like SMTs, the series is complete with coupe, sedan, AWD sedan, AWD wagon, wagon, and convertible spread across three engines

Cons: neither model is a bargain - in fact, they're probably the worst values in the class. Everything's optional.

Next: Lincoln Town Car

Ahem.
