Ps 3 log in problem?

Hi chaps..

Has anyone has issues logging into psn?

I have been getting 8071053D..

Is psn down or something?

Try to do the following steps:

1. Turn off your PS3
2. Unplug the power cord
3. Reset your modem/router
4. Plug the power cord back into the PS3
5. Turn on PS3
6. Sign in

If you still have the error, try going to the network settings on the XMB and redo the internet connection settings.

I got the same message about 5 minutes ago when I went to check my messages... hope it's working again when I get home from work today.

Yup,,same here. It is saying I need to change my password then when I press 'x' for okay it's saying it's undergoing maintenance.

It's a wide spread issue. Just check the racing series section.

It is the PSN network not working right now.

I dunno... for such a huge network with unlimited resources, it seems odd that it experiences so much total network failure...
How often do you see the entire ATM network go down? Never is the correct answer.

Yup, I have this same issue. Was working fine an hour ago and then BOOM.
If Sony's doing PSN maintenance the least they could have done was announce it. Guess not.

It was not letting me on about a hour ago, but now I can sign into PSN.
