PS Menu Glitch

In the last few days I've had this happen to me a numerous amount of times.

Right whats been happening is when the game is loading up and it's just the GT logo in the middle and you press PS Button the game does a weird freeze thing where it will freeze on the GT logo screen then about 5 seconds later it will bring up the ps menu, freeze again then around 5 seconds it will go back to the GT Logo again. The only way I've found of stopping this is by holding the button on the front of my ps3. It's also happening when I click off of the demo races before the main menu and click PS when loading.

Could the maintenance fix this because it's getting really really annoying.

I got a message whilst GT was loading, considering the game takes like 5 minutes to load up.
 
This has happened forever.

It's gotta be the most boring, agonizing game to boot up. 👎:grumpy:

You ever load up grand theft auto? Ugh you could make a 3 course meal for the amount of tine the game takes to load

Worst thing about that game is if your playing, say TBOGT (The Ballad Of Gay Tony) and one of your friends invites you to their TLAD (The Lost And The Damned) game it takes like 3 minutes to switch to the right mode. When you finally get in the game's servers kick you back out *Insert another 3 minute wait* :banghead:

I often start the game, go away and make a coffee just to come back to find out I hadn't clicked no to the install. I then go on to drink my coffee, go back downstairs, make another coffee an a couple of slices of toast, eat them, wash up, drink my coffee (you see where I'm going with this)

Basically loading is this games downfall :(
 
That's not a glitch and maintenance won't fix it.

Stop pushing the PS button while the game is loading up. The system isn't meant to handle that many processes at one time.
 
Ya I get kicked a lot, kind of annoying. Happens when it's loading too.
 
The PS3 is a computer and computers have what is know as a buffer so when you hit a key and then another key they start to add up and have to be run. Do like I do;:D never turn it off. My PS3 runs all the time and so does my computer, therefore it is always ready for me.
 
Never turn it off ?! Think of the dolphins !

Mine has crashed a few times though never while loading.
