PS2 doesnt read blue disc, Online Adapter?

Since my PS2 does not read blue discs, i can not install the Online Adapter. Correct? Are all the install cd's blue?

I just looked mine and it´s silver, so you´re good to go.👍

But the latest discs do DNAs check, so if you have a modchip installed you´ll have to turn it off or put it in PSOne mode, otherwise you will not be able to set up your NA.

Alright, i heard from someone that they are blue. I guess they were wrong. No, i dont have any mod chips. Online players here i come!

What happens when you try to play a blue disc? Is it giving you a Disc Read Error message? If so and your PS2 is out of warranty, try to find an online guide that tells you how to open up your PS2 and fix those errors. I did it and it was easy. Saved me from having to buy a new PS2.

After I break open the seal, fix my PS2, put it back together, can sell it to a store like gamestop? or would they say i can cause its been open. No i do not have a warranty

How does this work? What is the cost? I dont want to buy a new PS2 just for online play, its a waste of money. But dont the newer PS2's have progressive scan?
