Ps2 media player issue

I am sure some of you who chipped their playstation know about the PS2 Reality media player. Anyway i got it, it works fine but for example i put a Top Gear episode encoded in XVid format on a DVD(multisession) with another folder. When i browsed the cd the player could see that folder but couldn't see the TG episode. it happened the same when i put it alone on a ReWritable disc. I burned the disc using NeroStartSmart, the one for dummies. Anyone know this problem? Oh and i am using PS2 Reality player 1.28

look under photo and video and select "make your own dvd video".
It played on my ps2 without any mods what so ever,not even media player.

I don't know about XviD but I've had problems playing back DivX videos recorded onto CD-R discs as well as (for some reason) mp3s recorded also on CD-Rs. It just won't play or recognize my disc. Dunno why...
