It depends on what version PS2 you have, as the Solderless Modchips only work with versions 5 and 6 I believe.

The latter is a better site and has a chart of which modchip does what, and on what version PS2. If your like me and got a PS2 early, your probably SOL on the Jumperless.

Well you can get a solderless modchip for V4 PS2 motherboards but the thing is that you cant play import games. Thats the whole reason I wanna get a modchip so I can play imports. Well ****, looks like I'm gonna have to get a modchip where I have to solder some wires. Damnit.
