PS2 to PC Controller Adapter

For probably the same price you can buy a Logitech controlller that is indentical to the DS2. I'm pretty sure it's $20.

This is what I've bought works great. Drivers come on a floppy disk in the package or you can just download them off their website. But if you do get it just remember to push the analog button on the controllers so that the lights lit up or the sticks dont work. Common sense but I've gotten mad plenty of times thinking they were broken just cause I didnt turn them on. Force Feedback works as well if you install the drivers.

I used it mainly for any driving sims or for snes and mame emulators.

Ditto: I use it a bunch. Sweet piece of hardware. And if you already have two DualShocks, why buy more controllers?

And Logitech controllers are most definitely NOT THE SAME as a DualShock 2. Nothing, absolutely nothing, comes close to the DS2. The next best thing is the XBox S Controller. And you can get an adaptor for those from Lik Sang as well (I have one of them too (: )

I can agree that they're not THE same controller - But I should be hard pressed to tell which one is more precise. The Logitech wrrks pretty damn good if you ask me.! IMHO, the Logitech Rumblepad 2 is very close to the DS2..

I don't think it really matters which adaptor you get. They're all doing the same thing.

Basically the PS2 controller ports are the same as a 9-Pin serial connector and I believe they use RS-232 standard signaling. So these boxes just convert serial to USB. The XBox actually uses USB signaling, but they've also made their own connector. So those adaptor boxes are rather simple to make.

okay, thank you everybody...i will see if there is a local store that sells these before ordering online...they take too long...and shipping price..then there's custom fees...gay...
