PS3 European Release Announced!!!!

Well, it's finally happened! Sony have announced at E³ that the Playstation 3 will be released in clear black color in Europe on November 17th. It will be available in either 20Gb or 60Gb HDD configurations, and price will be 499Є for the 20Gb and 599Є for the 60Gb (I hope I used the right symbol for euro).

The rest of the world will just have to sit tight and wait for a local release date!

The rest of the world?? Yeah, like, Japan will have to wait to get theirs a week previously. :D

But it really is great news for our Euro friends, who were thinking that they might have to wait till late spring or summer 2007!
 
wel come on, gimme a break! I didn't know, as my PC has been down (bum PSU) and I didn't see any thread that made the announcement, without then *****ing about the price. I do apologise, but hey, there may be some people out there who don't know, or are a little behind the 8-ball on the news.

Tenacious D - I haven't seen anything about a Japanese release date, but your right, it would be about that wouldn't it? What I meant was USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, etc.

sorry guys, I was looking toward the end of threads, as I figured it would have been fairly recent. My bad. I didn't bother doing a search, as I could just imagine the many results I would get "When is the release date?" "Is there a release date yet?" and so on and so forth.

I'm just gunnu crawl back in my box now!

lol fair enough. Ah well, I'm gonna go and start camping outside my local shop, waiting till release!
 
That maay be just a bit drastic. It isn't coming out for another six months and all. Besides, don't you want to get even more worked up over it by hanging out here and catching all the latest gossip? ;)
 
ahh, good point! and the loitering fines would seriously eat into my savings!
 
i think starting a new thread like this is good because it saves time searching through 80ish pages of info, so starting a new thread is good so when people want to find certain info, they can quite quickly instaed of taking ages searching. Like me when i tried to find out about GT4 HD and PS3, and i want it now!!!!!!!!!

That's what the search button is for. Plus, like I posted before, this info is found by looking at post one of the PS3 thread which is super easy to do.
