I tried a search but couldn't find anything.
Has anybody tried playing with the PS3 Eye (for Move)?
The manual for GT5 says with the device and playing with the in-cockpit view, the image adjusts to your head movements...

Sounds fantastic!

any reviews before I go to fleabay and look for one?

Dont get it just for this game. It does'nt work in A spec only arcade.

Not really worth it IMHO.

Tried it yesterday, and tbh, i wouldn't buy a camera just for that, i've only tried it as the missus bought that stupid motion thing. On subject, its hard to get it to keep a track of your face and when it does, it overreacts and you cant see anything as all you can see is the wing mirror!

As always, it is just my opinion, others may differ.

Cheers

Could you belive that my mom wanted to get PSMove for herself? Since when moms want to play videogames?!

Sorry that this post is off subject.

It looks decent, check out this video.

Now if they could patch it into GT Life. Obviously not as good as TrackiR though.

I like to use the cockpit view in extra zoom mode, so I thought the ps eye could be a good solution for looking through the rear view mirrors, as they are left outside the screen on most cars in that configuration. I borrowed a camera from a friend and spent a whole night testing different setups.

First, you`ll need to place the camera very close to your face. In my case, I don´t like USB cables flying across the room as I can see the ps3 smashed on the floor sooner or later. Then, you´ll need strong lighting conditions, either you won´t be recognized at all. I prefer playing in the dark as I can focus better on the game.

Once everything is already configured, you can only use it with the arcade mode. Response isn´t as fast as I expected, so I just get a few nice natural sensations only while driving long slow turns, as the ones in Cote DAzur.

Overall, it didn`t work for me. I suggest you to get a camera from someone to experience it by yourself before spending on a ps eye just for this.
