Thank you Champ....I knew it.. I'm sorry, but seriously...For the size requirements of console's...The hardware just isn't availible yet...Don't get me wrong, i'd gladly take a console the size of my tower, but.....IT aint gonna happen..

Well it's not Ps3...it's made up...and it's nice, but it's fake..It's like Grand Theft auto...nice cars but fake cars.
Id like to see your sources cause i think thats completely false. Sony has to Debut the Playstation 3 this month. I garantee the Debut Playstation 3 is in the testing stages. After E3 they will see what kind of attention the other consoles got and theirs got. They will then likely revise things then put it through testing and game development. Then it will be close to release time and they will start mass producing them up untill a few days before the release day when they will be shipped out for sales.

The Ps3 is said to have a 4.3 GHZ processor....Which is ALOT faster than most processors out today....

The X box 360 is said to have 3 3.0GHZ processors......So if Micro has the sync workin on them good, which they probably will...Chances are it'll blow the 4.3 out of the water.
Ive not read up on the XBOX 360 so i dunno about the whole 3x 3.0GHz thing. Sounds like total BS to me. All Multi Processor systems are in even numbers. Thats how computers work. The Ps3 CPU is a 4.x GHz Power PC based Cell Processor. Power PC is a Mac processor. Macs are widely used for video editing and things alike because their processors are good for that. Power PC processors are RISC also. Anyhow the PS3 CPU is a cell processor. From what ive read it is 8 cell, but its not official. but that means its about equal to a 4GHz Power PC processor with Hyper Threading x4. Each cell can do things on its own or it can split things up between the cells. I know exactly how this works because the New Processor Intel is about to release is basically the same thing but not as fast. Its Very powerful. so this has the power of 8 CPUs and the 360 as you described above has to be told how to use the other processors in the software if it even has multiple CPUs. Post up your sources of your info so i can see where you got it from. 👍

Maybe I should revise my statement. Sure, games like Gran Turismo or Pro Evolution Soccer would look great with real-life graphics but if videogames have no effect on real violence at the moment do you think that will still stand if games like GTA or Manhunt looked like real people?

The fact of the matter is they are not real people, they have no emotions, no family, no life. Killing them would cause nobody any pain. They will be no more real than the people on GTA today it will just look more real thats it. The principal is the same however realistic it looks.

It just means I'll play em more XD. It will have no effect on me what so ever, I will know that it's not real.

Well sometimes I'd like to see some next gen games actually look like games

Er... whats the difference between RISC and SISC(CISC? CYSC?) again?

sims want to be as realistic as possible. I'd like a uber realistic boxing or racing or flight or combat game. Some things are more fun with crazy vibrant colors though. Like Mario (which i havent bought since the NES games)

WHo wants to see a short overweight italian plumber Jumping into Giant Dirty pipes fighting overgrown mutated mushrooms with uber realistic graphics

RISC- Reduced Instruction Set Computers
CISC- Complex Instruction Set Computers
Intel MMX- Multi Media Extensions
Intel SSE- Streaming SIMD Extensions
Intel SSE2- Streaming SIMD Extensions 2
SIMD- Single Instruction Multiple Data

The latest news can be found in the forum. They are hardly updating the main page.I've been a member there for about a year now and the guy who used to run the site left and whoever is in charge now isn't putting much effort into it,as you can see.
