Actually the only place I really differ with you regarding MotorStorm is the aggressive AI, and that in my opinion, while I do like having the extra challenge for those specific few races, I also give the game developers credit for limiting those type of AI to only a small handful of races, thus giving players who do not like it far more races without those targeting AI to enjoy instead.

I'm always in support of having variety and options in a game. 👍

To that point, adding the Time Attack Mode was a big plus in my book, and allowed me to do a lot more with the game than before, especially testing out different vehicles along different strategic paths and to compare these results with my best times and the best times of others. 👍👍

Other than that, my review would be similar to yours... but I'd easily give MotorStorm a rating of 9, as it offers in my opinion the complete package, great gameplay, online support, graphics, sounds, options, and replay value. 👍👍

NCAA Football 2009

8.0 out of 10

+ Online Dynasty mode (This is the only reason why the game scores a 8)
+ Custom soundtrack for 20 specific events (touchdown, turnover etc)
+ Get the exact weather for particular stadiums from weather.com
+ Slightly improved tackling animations
+ finally some hit animations look HUGE
+ Players actually get hurt alot like they do in the real game, most of the time its only for a few plays which is realistic.

- The way the players run looks like crap, the game desperately needs motion capture
- The defensive AI isn't very smart at times
- Linemen are too slow and have trouble putting pressure on QBs with any type of speed
- blitzing players usually take the slowest path or get held up making blitzes not as effective as they should be
- The commentary hasn't improved in years
- The players feel and look slow
- Navigating through the plays can be a headache
- Some Menu Navigation is difficult and confusing

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

7.5 out of 10

+ Great graphics
+ Physics are improved and solid for the most part
+ 16 player online races

- Online Races are ruined by punters, RBE
- Most of the game, offline and online, is bare bones
- Lacks features of a basic sim racing game like tire wear and qualifying

Pixel Junk Monsters

9.5 out of 10

+ Very fun and worth it for the price
+ 2 player
+ the difficulty is not too hard or too easy

- Some levels require a certain strategy to beat that can be hard to find at times without alot of trial and error
- Some towers, like the ice tower are worthless or cost too much

Battlefield: Bad Company (7/10)

After being spoiled with COD4 for months and months, and being a rabid fan of BF2142 i figures this would be a good game to play. i was right and wrong, the graphics are ok, they were given a fair amount of grain to add to the cinematic effect but i feel it's excessive.

The gameplay is decent, the enemy often pops out of nowhere and starts shooting you and sometimes hard to tell where the firing is coming from. even then it's not a problem beacause you have an infinite supply of an instant heal injection, you get shot up too bad just find some cover and your good. That being said you can just run and gun through entire squads and not even worry. (i think it's a wierd substitute for the auto healing feature in COD4)

The vehicles are cool and the Heplicopter mission is fun but i felt like i was playing Mercenaries when in vehicles.

The Sound effects are astounding. If you've ever fired a gun in real life you will smile when doing so in BF. The shots echo through the atmosphere and give you extra incentive into shooting a few more rounds than you have to just to hear the guns. Explosions, artillery, 50mm cannons, damn near everything sounds excellent.

Online is loaded with spawn campers and peope who play cheap as hell, didn't like it at all, but coming from COD4 it's not a very fair comparison. I figure people who hated COD4 online seek refuge in this game.

All in all it's an excellent rental, but if want to purchase you will play it for a week and probably just go back to COD.. Good game not great, you'll have fun but it will get a little old in a few days...anyways that's my take, now back to GT5 :):):)

Civilization: Revolution
8.5/10

I'll start by keeping it short, this is an excellent game, if you enjoy the genre you'll love this instalment. The game is very easy to pick up for new comers to the series and PC fans won't be disappointed either. I never really cared for Civilization on the PC, maybe because I was to young when I played it the first time and didn't understand the workings of it. I've really become slightly addicted to the console version since picking it up last night. The controls are easy and the menus are very straight forward. There is also an in-game Civlopedia to help you figure out what each unit does and how to plan you tech tree out accordingly.

The graphics are quite good although I've never really been a huge stickler on them. The sound gets annoying after a bit with the incomprehensible babbling of your advisers and other leaders.

I haven't tried it online, nor will I since I'm not big into that and I'm not really good enough. It would probably just ruin the game experience for me.

All in all I really like this game and I'm glad I picked it up.
