It will be the same experience I had with PS3. Amazing exclusives but every single multiplayer experience is boring. As someone who prefers the master console of PC gaming I can say all PS3 did with their games was try to simulate PC FPS. Look at Resistance 1, 2 and 3 trying to compete with Halo. Then 3rd game comes around and it has 16 players. They thought more meant fun.

Good PS3 Games
Killzone Series (single player only)
Resistance (single player only)
Final Fantasy
Metal Gear Solid

None of them last because the multiplayer is boring but they have fun single player. Rest of the games are over-rated trash with bad gameplay along with failed exclusives.

http://nexgenwars.com/ Xbox 360 has won.

PS4 will follow the same fate and will fail to deliver good experiences with its multiplayer. I only enjoyed Gears of War 3 and Halo 4 for multiplayer on 360 so I don't expect them to make many good games.

PS4 does look amazing at least.

PS3 didn't lost anything. Games are superb, more yet to come. On line game play is also free of all charge and last long times.

PS4 when it will be announced it will attract current ps3 owners but even new clients.

I don't know from where did you get your opinion that PS3 lost something. That's really weird, you are alone with your opinion i think. SONY 👍

All that is needed is Call of Duty to be released on PS4, I think that will have most of the FPS and multiplayer fans sorted. The new share features are exciting, hopefully all of that is free to use too.

Competition is certainly good for the industry but I don't see the need as consumers to decide which console has won a "war". Just buy whichever you like, buy both if you can afford it and enjoy gaming.

It's a shame, I thought I enjoyed playing on my PS3. I could've sworn some other people mentioned enjoying certain PS3 games too. Boy, do they have egg on their faces!

"I had fun once, but it turns out I didn't."

Well he's at least right about one thing, I consider the first Resistance game one of the best console games of this generation. The second one wasn't as good and the third one was a disaster.

How do you know the PS4 "will follow the same fate and fail to provide good multiplayer"?

How can you post a statement with no reasoning and evidence whatsoever?

Ill tell you why, Because your clearly a XBOX fanboy who hasn't got a clue what your on about. Posting sales figures from 4 years ago, conveniently forgetting that Uncharted ever existed and saying a console is going to fail 8 months before its set release, Than a couple of lines after saying it looks "amazing" shows how clueless you are.

Cut the fan boy crap.

Edit Wales too, you should know better Boyo.

According to the website the Wii won, though those figures are well out of date! But even so, the Wii sold the most consoles.

Yeah, no. PC elitism is just as bad as console fanboys. Games are games, enjoy them wherever you can and like. I know I do.

No, we just have been watching the console industry playing catch up with online play for over a decade now. Plus free to play games that are better than most titles you have to buy for console.

As a guy with a PS3 that collects dust, just sayin'

Well I guess it depends what you define as a "true gamer" then. Because to me it's someone who just enjoys games across any platform and doesn't get caught up in any elitism or attachement to one platform. I had a SNES and Megadrive and enjoyed them pretty equally, I had a PS1, a PS2 then a 360 and PS3. This time around I preferred the 360, next gen I might prefer the PS4. Then a few years ago I got a gaming PC and enjoyed everything that offered as well.

I just enjoy games and that's why I consider myself a true gamer. Not as some elitist tag because I only play on whatever is technically the best platform.

The SNES was and is great. Most modern single player games are quite boring though, with little challenge and little content. I've found them wildly uninteresting, while Player vs. Player has been far more interesting and options on PC are just better for that. I can only handle trolling people in CoD for so long while going 30 and 5 before it gets old.

👍 👍 👍

I'd be interested to know why you think Resistance was meant to be a competitor to Halo - maybe I'm walking right into it here, but that's the first I've heard of it...

I'm with the gamers who enjoy their games regardless of platform. Persoanlly I'm grateful to Sony for supporting so many new ideas from smaller games studios and so bringing a lot of different games to our attention.

PS4 when it will be announced

Don't start this crap in another thread. The ps4 has already been announced. This has been explained to you many times by many people. Hell, myself and another user even posted the dictionary definition of the word "announce".

Because we play on PC, generally.

Preferences. You and I both have them. Please get off your high horse and realize that your opinion alone does not define something. I play games and enjoy them regardless of the system.
