PS3 Replacement

I'm thinking of replacing my current PS3 with a brand new one.

My current one still works fine but I'm thinking of retiring it so I have a spare in case my new one goes pop.

But my question is; if I copy all my save files onto a USB can I then transfer them to my new PS3 and use them normally? After setting up my PSN account on it obviously?

My GT5 save is my biggest worry at the minute.

Yes you can, some saves can't be copied onto a USB stick though due to some stupid copy protection. GT5 saves however will copy fine.

But if you do a data transfer or copy the entire system from one PS3 to the other you will get everything you had in the first one... DLCs, locked saved game, etc... included
