PS3 software crash

My PS3 had a crash on the 4.40 software while browsing GTP. It says I need to download 4.40 to a storage device, and Playstation has not released th 4.40 for PC.My PS3 is unable to do anything. Please help!!!

I don't trust their customer service, i've tried to send an E-mail and the only thing i found was live chat.

Try live chat then and see what happens? Worse case scenario is you wasted some time.

Sent an E-mail to Sony. I don't trust that link, it would be best to use Playstations.

EDIT:Tried that link with the update and it still doesn't work. I might kill my PS3.

EDIT:The link worked and my ps3 is updating!
