Hi,need some help want to open sub account for my son 10 yo 2001 dont know how you go about it is it easy have clicked on open new account but is diffrent to just opening normal sub account says will need authorisation from main account holder and also will be able to send gifts from this sub account and how will I have to go through parental settings?clueless need some help dont want him using my account in case he deletes any of my game saves dont want to lose months of gt5 progress

A sub-account is a PSN thing, not a GT5 thing. If you want to set up an account on your PS3 for him to play on, all you need to do it scroll across on the PS3 browser (called "XMB" or "XrossMediaBrowser") to the far left and select "Create User". It doesn't need a PlayStation Network (PSN) account associated with it.

If you want to set up a PSN subaccount for him to play online in any way, you have to do this through the Playstation Website.
