Those probably wont work very well, seeing as how the text on the xmb is white, it will be hard to see. Well at least on the first and fifth ones.

Good point so just to test I tried a few of 'em out. And surprisingly it's really not too bad. The XMB icons definitely don't stand out as much as before but they are still easily discernible. Also trimming the photos to match the output resolution of the TV is worthwhile. Let me tell you that McLaren iso shot really pops on a HDTV. Nice 👍

I try and put some wallpapers in Win Rar files in the next couple of weeks, containing my best photography and Photomode work.

Great point. I wouldn't be surprised if in some future system update they allow you to change the color of the text in XMB now that it supports custom wallpapers.

I have always wondered about that. I think that the XMB has done a lot as far as letting the user customize the look of it, and I think that is what it has over the Xbox360's menu system. I can only imagine what more things we will be allowed to do in the future updates of the system.

@Earth - I like the thumbnail style, I just have no earthly idea how you did it. Can pass along some instructions?

It's really easy icelt, just go to www.imageshack.us

click on browse and choose an image, then click on host it! to upload it

Then it will give you alot of links. Choose Thumbnails for Forums (1)

Copy and paste that entire link and there you go 👍

PSP already has this feature, it was added when they added the theme option.

At another forum there is a thread similiar to this but,

to organize things and to prevent guys from having to look through 50 pages they put all the links in the first post like this:

NAME
Image description
Link

it would really look like this:

I need some help...

I put all the pictures in this thread on my 1gig memory card and plugged it into my ps3.

It can tell there, there(when i press triangle then information it find's them) but as soon as i press view it say's there is no pictures to display?

The PS3 is looking for pictures ONLY in a folder labeled PICTURES on your memory card. If you do not want to put all the pics in one folder, the way you can get the PS3 to find them is to highlight the memory card listing in XMB, press triangle, and select "Show All". Then it will show all the folders and files on the card... at least that's what I remember of the top of my head, but if that doesn't work let me know and when I get the chance I'll check to see how exactly I have done that in the past.

Hmmm, try this...

Create a folder on your flash card with the title PICTURES in all caps as you see it. Put the pictures in there. They should show up with NO problems at all, or the pics must be the wrong type or bad.

EDIT: Bah! Beat me to it by one minute.

Yeah, 'Show All' works, but not always, for some reason. Putting them in a folder labeled PICTURES is so much easier, though.

I was about to cue in the Solid_Lifters comment, you seem to have a really good grasp on the folder system of the PS3.

One more thing. If you put pictures in folders with their own names, and put those folders in the PICTURES folder on your memory card, the PS3 still wont see those folders and pictures without selecting the "Show All" option.

I like to keep my pictures organized in separate folders, so that's why I always use the "Show All" option. So far I have never had a problem with my PS3 finding all my folders and pics. 👍

My pictures, 1,000 so far, are all downloaded from CD and DVD disks. The PS3 puts them in separate folders by month and year. That's good enough for me.

Thank's guy's, i selected the show all, but that just gives me a list of how much space there taking up on the memery stick, How much space is left and how many files there are.

I'll try the method's you's mentioned earlier later on(I can't check on my PS3 as im away from home with it but only bought my Component cable, while theres only standard Def Tv's here, apart from in the lounge:()

+Rep's;)

You may want to check again. What you just listed is what you see when you highlight the memory card on XMB, press triangle, and then select "Information". What you want to do is select "Display All". 👍

Thank's yea, i thought that was What i was doing. I got it working:)

Does anyone know if The PS3 version of Carbon fully support's the G25? The PS2 version Does...?

Sorry for the OT

If your on the net with ur PS3 then just come here and download them straight to ur PS3 without the need for a USB card.
