You can use MS paint, or photoshop. Just don't make it look like its done in photoshop.

Here is a snake that will give you a run for your money.

This was done in paint. Not Photoshop It's my 1st fully done by me. Time like 10 minutes. I used the s2000 Platform. I had to Redesign everything.
