Hold on a minute. I think if PD wants to come up with a GT specially-made for kids, why not give it a chance? Some of you are so quick to dismiss things rather than give it a chance. Maybe KY wants to make something out of this. It isn't going to be a case like in the MegaMan series, whereas MegaMan fans (like myself) liked the classic style of gameplay while this Battle Network deal happens and people don't really like it. I'm not saying "GT for Kids" is going to be an overnight success, but at least it would be a nice oppurtunity for children to modify their cars as well as learn more about our culture. In my thread entitled "Let the Kids Play Already," I wanted to discuss what we think this "GT for Kids" would bring up. Why judge a game as a bad idea when there hasn't even been photos of it? It's like saying that an artist or band is horrible if you never actually heard their music.
The reason why I'm optimistic about "GT for Kids" is because... well, it's a new idea PD wanted to try. It isn't going to be a kid-friendly equivalent of GT4, but it will be a new branch from the tree of Gran Turismo. Did anyone think "GT Concept" was going to be crap when it wasn't released at all? Thought so. At least give them the benefit of a doubt for this deal.
