PSN account country/region changeable request for PSN

Should the user be able to change their country/region in their PSN?

Hello everybody, first of all merry Christmas and a happy new year to all!! :)

I would like to share how I think about the fact that no one can change their country/region associated with their psn account. For me it's been a nightmare because I can't enjoy online features nor content because I changed countries after I created my psn account and did all my saved games and I got screwed. I asked psn if they could at least change it internally, but unsurprisingly they didn't care a bit. And that has to stop. the customers are the most important part of a business and they treat us horribly (I know that that is normal for any major business.). They should pay more attention to what the customers needs and wants are.

PSN should allow users to change their country/region!!

You could always make another account as GTPorsche said and buy whatever you want, then play it on any account on the ps3

But what if you have an epic username that you do not wish to lose? I agree with the OP.

The ability to change would be useful, agreed; but your comment that Sony treats its customer horribly is slightly over the top. Take a breath, make a new account, find a way around this.

And demanding a change or expecting that whole "customers are the most important part of a business" warcry to make a difference...well, that's something I never could understand.

The PS3 has been out for a good few years - the inability to change region or country has been known for just as long. Research before you buy will mean you won't get such nasty surprises.
 
Instead of changing your region, it would be better to make all locations to have the same content.

Epic username? Again you could make another account buy with it whatever you want, then play it on your account with the epic name
 
They really should allow users to change their PSN ID or region, even if its for a one off fee.
 
One of the high-ups at Sony has accounts for Japan, EU and USA - but that's more to do with the different region release policies - you just need a valid e-mail address to do it...
