PSN Down?

I've tried to find this on the net but to no avail.

Anyone else having a problem signing in?I've tried for at least 30 minutes now.Just curious if it's down or not before I go messing with my router.

Nope. No problems. Most likely it's on your end.
 
According to isthepsndown.com: "PSN seems to be down for all of mankind."

I'd say so.

Edit: That AND because I was signed out moments ago...
 
so it's down then? I checked that place and since it wasn't affiliated with PSN I didn't think nothing of it.

Well I figured it may be reliable since it's based on user feedback...yet again, you make a good point. People may be trolling :crazy:

I'm unable to log back in. I'm not sure why though! I doubt it's my router if we're both experiencing the same problem.

That's my problem. I just can't log in.

I'm dying to Play COD Black Ops(Got it from Gamefly,and yeah I'm behind on this game). Don't want to play it until I have the updates for it.

PSN Server Status says all is well...I guess I'll start the 15 minute procedure of restarting my router :indiff:

I'll update if I'm able to log back in. Good luck! I hope you can get online to get those updates 👍

I'm on as I type this, on both of my consoles, so all seems to be fine here in good ole NH. 👍
 
I've been getting server connection errors all afternoon and still not online now. I've reset Internet connection several times to no avail. A friend of mine is having same issue yet other friends have no problem.
 
ok. I've done everything i can think to do and this thing is still not connecting to the internet. Obtaining an IP address is fine,but the Internet Connection is always failing.

I even took all my ports off and reported it all,still no connection. I'm lost on what to do now.
 
Should I just restore my router to it's default settings? Something is a miss and I just can't find it. Was working just fine a few days ago.
 
Maybe your provider has some maintenance running? Happens about once per year with my provider.

Tested it out and it works fine.

Man this is getting annoying. I hate getting angry before bed,the bad thing is I won't go to bed til it's fixed.

I have no idea how The router had WPA2 PSK enabled,but it did. just now found that it was turned on. Turned it off got Nat 2 and my internet connection back.

What a wasted 2 hours this has been.

Now that you bring up the NAT thing... How is it possible that i got Nat 3, but when i restart my Router i get Nat 1 :) Everytime i start my ps3 i must restart router... someone know why???

And I presume that having this 'protection' enabled - prevents you from accessing the PS Network(?)

Not at all. It's wireless security. Meaning you need to input the password in order to access the internet at all. Op didnt input the password which meant he couldnt get onto the internet. Ie psn.

Which is impossible.
You can't have NAT 1 if connected to a router, never. Most likely you're simply confusing router with modem.

EDIT: And yes, it is called Modem in my Language... but i wasnt sure how to write it in English hehe
