Are the loading times of the PSN GT5 faster since it is all on the HDD or is it the same as the retail GT5 which has the game data installed?

Is there a psn gt5 now?

Surely a PSN GT5 would be Massive and take a month to download.

It may have been an advertisement i saw on the PSN for GT5, or i confused GT5P for GT5.

PSN monitors the games that you play. Whenever to you go the Whats New icon itll bring up GT5 and usually 1 more game that you play often. The rest of the squares advertisements. If you click the GT5 link,as long as the disc is in, itll open GT5.

Over the time, the more you play GT5, the more content is installed on the HDD, thus, making the loading times shorter... In theory.

Though, new game updates seem to have shortened the loading times by quite a bit.

I think a PSN GT5 would end up being faster than the standard retail version. Even after enabling the progressive installation option and after installing the game, after several months of use my copy still reads much from the blu-ray disc. I wish they put a "complete install" option in order to make the PS3 read the disc only for movies and/or during startup just as a copy protection check.

Yeah, a complete install would have been better, even if it took 5 hours to install lol.

That may be the way of the future mainly for the Xbox 360 since 8.5GB is the limit for a DVD.

A compleate install to the HDD will make it compeate with the PS3 in terms of graphics
