Yeah I've downloaded it thursday. Nice update! I love the visual effects, and also the camera option. Now I only need a camera that is compatible, must me 100€ or more I guess, never seen one.

Haven't seen the PSP camera yet? Its already out in Japan, and it takes 1.3mp pictures and videos with sound as long as your memory stick can hold. You can import one from internet sites, and it comes to around 50 bucks. Hopefully it will come out in North America sometime soon.

Heres a link for more info on the PSP camera, and the upcoming GPS.

Homebrew on 2.80 days before this came out, its a tough upgrade

playing Aria Of Sorrow on my PSP(again) at full speed.

Version 3.00 and 3.01 Firmware was decrypted 2 days after release, we'll have it on custom firmware and devhook soon enough.

Just updated too, been a while since I used the psp. TBH I find the games a little dull, I was really hoping for GT-Mobile, but since it never came allong im stuck with RR2 (completed RR1 100%).

Aw, man my mom confiscated my PSP cause I forged a signature...

Luckily now we have wireless internet, so when I get it back at Christmas I'll be able to play online and get v3.0 right away! :D

Still waiting for the hopeless GT:Mobile though... as well as NFS Carbon and Test Drive Unlimited... which better have infrastructure...

Y'know what sucks though? Midnight Club 3 isnt infrastructure... :banghead: Also, Burnout Legends infrastructure would be nice... dammit why is there games w/o infrastructure mode? :mad:

Also about the new Firmware, many people have said to noticed a decrease in load times and games running faster, apparently the new Firm upgrade has made the PSP run faster than the initial 222mhz.

How is MC3? I want to get that game if its any good, but I'm leaning towards Carbon on the PSP.

YES!! Midnight club 3 will take under an hour to load!!! :lol:

Also, maybe this helps the development of new games like TDU and GT.

It's the exact same game from the console versions, with all the cars, cities, etc. However, the load times are horrible. It takes at least 45 seconds to load up a city, and to get to the actual main menu it takes at least a minute or so.

Really, just get the Remix version on the consoles for the same price as the PSP version, with extra cars, songs, a new city, etc. Plus the controls are better, the graphics are better, and the loadtimes aren't nearly as bad.

To be honest, I'd just stay away from any ports on the PSP and get original titles.

I wouldnt personally give up on GTMobile..

I work at gamestop and on the reserve list we have "Gran Turismo" due out for the psp sometime around march i believe.

:]

This sounds like an awesome update.. I just wonder when they're going to release that PSP Camera. I wonder when they're going to release that GPS unit though.. I want it so i can get some GPS up in mah car! Haha.

Which one?

Whats the PSP Camera and GPS?

If I ever find you, can I have a cheap game, oh say maybe RUSH (20 dollar value) for PSP cheap?

And maybe NFS Carbon? :D

A little delayed, but PSP Firmware 3.10 is released:

* Game
  • Support for PLAYSTATION®Network titles has been expanded.
* Network
  • You can now play MPEG-4 AVC format video files under [LocationFree™ Player]. A LocationFree™ Base Station (a Sony product sold separately) with model number LF-B20 or LF-B10 is required. For details on the LocationFree™ Player, visit http://www.sony.net/Products/LocationFree/psp/
  • [Conserve Memory] has been added as an option in [View Settings] under [Internet Browser].
* Settings
  • [Dynamic Normalizer] has been added as a feature under [Sound Settings].

Well, the conserve memory option does make a bit of a difference I noticed, so that's quite a good feature. I'm still wondering what the "Dynamic Normalizer" exactly does, though. I haven't noticed a difference on any audio files I have played...

3.11's not at yourpsp, i only upgrade from yourpsp, it's the only source i trust... :ill:

How do you conserve memory? :confused:
Go into the web browser, then Tools > Settings > View Settings. There will be an option to turn it on or off.

And try downloading the update from here.
