I would like to believe,... but, unfortunately, the content is never close to specific enough.

Sorta like John Edwards. He's probably one of the best ever,.. but he is never specific enough to have me totally convinced.

Plus,.. I dont believe in an after-life,....

Can people see into the future? No,... I'm quite convinced that what we call 'fate', doesn't exist.

Why are you convinced that there is no such thing as Fate (mind the devil's advocate here, this issue is brought up a lot around me). Do you beleive that we as humans have

free-will to do whatever? I feel that one compliments the other in this situation. -> As forr psychics, I truly don't believe, I find it wuite impossible for someone to be able to

tell your future just by reading cards, touching you hand, looking into a crystal ball, etc. whatever you have it. It is not that anyone is gullible or easily convinced about

psychics, but they do put on an impressive show at least. Especially when they are wrong. . .

My beliefs revolve more around reincarnation. I dont believe that there is a devine plan,.... there may be an end result,.... but I dont think it can be fortold. Therefore, fate cannot exist,.. IMO.

More of a theory of infinite possiblity with the same results as beginning huh? I actually have a belief very close to that, but it still has parts of free-will and fate involved in it too. I think at one point I posted it somewhere on GTP, but forgot where.

The thing is,... I dont think free will and fate can co-exist. Fate, in all actuallity, IMO, means NO free will.
But without extreme opposites, the other would not exist. Kinda like every action has an equal and opposite re-action. With one extreme you will always have others that

believe a different extreme. That is how I feel both of these could exist. No one really knows how life is mapped. Why we beleive some of the beliefs we do. Everyone has a right

to beilieve anything. . . But if you never had something called fate/ or free will, you would never have heard about the other.

I think the majority of them are fake. Any one of us could get a job on a psychic hotline. The only one who does a good job of convincing me is Sylvia Browne. Also, there are psychics who help police officers at crime scenes and what not. I believe those, too.

So what do these Psychics do to get their insight on the future or past whatever you have it. I thought a psychic wasw suppose to tell the future. . . It is just that I can hardly

believe anyone can look at you, or me and say this is what is going to happen, this is what happened, this is how you can change it, etc. I believe that they would make good

criminal investigators because a massive amount of insight is needed to figure out situtations.

I see what your saying,... and thats why these topics are soooooo open-ended, cause no one knows for sure.

Until it's proven beyond a reasonable doubt,.... psychics, religions, and any other paranormal or sociological so-called events, to me, will be just that,..... so-called. Someones opinion or ambition,... nothing more. JMO 👍

I agree with you totally here. I am more of a person that needs to be shown something to beleive it. . . That is how I learn. . . Religon/beliefes/theories are too tough tfor most to talk about because everyone thinks their right and never opens their ears to anyone else. TMO

Good point Neon, I forgot totally about the monetary situation that is also brought up with psychics.

I don't feel that people that pay money for it are "foolish" but I do believe that they would probably have a lower self-esteem

then normal people, because they rely on someone to tell them good news about the future.

They key word being desperate. To my mind it is immoral what these "psychics" do. They take advantage of people. It is a predatory business like payday loans. But then again predators weed out the sick and weak.

But has anyone seen The Pet Psychic? It has loads of comic value, in an absurd, surreal style of course.
