Good night everybody, I saw in this forum a cockpit that dazzled me (the 1st one of the chilicocke, the other was the Bugman cockpit) to the point of wanting to get one for me, I tried in vain to ask them give me some mesurements to manufacture one for me but I got no positive response so I decided to get to work and was taking a few mesurements of my car (Peugeot 206 CC) and the end result was that this sketch show below. Tomorrow I'll post some more pictures of the construction of the cockpit as son I upload the images. Until then stay with two sketches I made before starting the whole process. Hugs from Madeira.

New update. Enjoy

Unfortunately I had to make a change in this area, had planned a thing in my scketch but I have misscalculated certain measures and when I place the steering wheel in is place, my hands hit in both sides of the upper section:guilty: so we had to modify the entire upper section:crazy: But in the end its feels good to.

Welding complete!!!!

Now here some pictures from the painting process.

Apllying the primer

Primer apllyed

And now the first layer of the final color

First layer finished

Second layer..

Painting is done!!

Needed this to move the cockpit arround, that thing is insanely heavy!!!

The shifter zone

And now something completely new in custom racing cockpits :)(i think!) A left arm rest(my shifter is on right side with a arm rest to)

Other new thing, 2 positions for the reverse pedals!! :P

Making the holes for the seat.

This is me holding the seat so that my brother in law screws it to the frame, and look at my wife super interested in wath we are doing (not:lol:)

And for now its done, now i need the wood boards for the feet base and weel and arm rests, when i fit them i will post the final result.
The only thing i don´t like very much is the color of the seat, it was supposed to be black and grey, and it turned to be that awfull color, but i ordered one over the internet and e received 2 for the price of one so i cant complain a lot by the store mistake :P.
I hope that you all liked to see the manufacturing process of my cockpit.
Cheers from Madeira Island.
