Ok, I need the help of some people who know about animals. At Home, I have a 4 year old male West Highland Terrier called Nevis. We also have a 3 year old Cat Female called Jess. The Problem is, whenever the two pets get together, they start "making love". What I need to know, is if we could have any bizarre hybrids coming out.

We Thought about getting Nevis neutered although he has a murmur at his heart and he dosn't take injections or surgery very well. It also costs £100+ to do so. :nervous:

Please Help,
Danster.

No, of course you won't.

With no disrespect intended, how old are you? Assuming you're an adult, have you ever been sectioned or placed under supervisory care "for your own good"?

Worst case scenario is that you'll get one of these:

God I hated that show.

 Is this thread a joke. Anyway like Famine said it is definitely not possible.

No. Im making a joke out of a confusing situation. Im 28 for your information :)

It's all in the chromosomes ;)

If something does manage to magically happen, I'll take one.

Notice I said take, not pay for. Remember that when you ship it to me. ;)

I always thought males were cheapest to neutralize? At least it was in our case when we neutralized all three cats.

Anyway, get the cat neutralized anyway, you don't want a wandering or neighbourhood male cat to visit yours and a few weeks later you're sitting with a catnest at home...

If UK Customs actually let their guard down, there would be a chance :);)

I'll take that advice! Thanks. Falkirk isn't really the nicest place around :( (our last two cats were poisoned.) so Jess is generally housebound. But there is the odd occasion where she goes for a wander. So I'll check the prices for the Cat.

In that case, be sure to get her a collar as well with a nametag and address on or something similar. We experienced what happens over here when hunters with their shotguns meet unowned (so they think) cats...

What, you don't like seeing a cartoon where the protagonists' lives suck to no end, as they get repeatedly beat up, robbed, and/or have their lives ruined in every episode?
..Weirdo.

Get a rabbit and rent a room for your cat and the rabbit. Wait a couple of weeks and in no time you'll be selling cabbits to everyone!

Might end up with rats though.

Cute little ones that pull your hair and make you cook, though, right?

oh, and Danster, youre right. Falkirk isn't the nicest of places :D. Come and live in linlithgow just down the road, its much nicer 👍

You have a female cat who goes out?

If that's the case and she hasn't been spayed yet, then you're an idiot.

When she goes out, Its usually accidental and she only gets as far as the end of the driveway.

What I never got about that show is how they went to the bathroom?

On second thought, I would rather not know.:nervous::scared::yuck:

To be honest a hybrid of two animals is wierd but a hybrid of public transport and an animal would be awesome, say a Bus and a Cat

Didn't you learn anything from South Park, Pig & Elephant DNA just won't splice. Nor will Cat & Dog.

But this does remind me of an episode of The Osbournes where the cat was getting molested by the dog.

No, of course you won't.

WHAT!?. Well, there goes my ambition to create a duck-dog. :grumpy:

OK, you two; you can knock it off, now.
