Purchase packs separately or get VIP/car pass?

It'll be there or thereabouts I reckon. The Porsche dlc for FM4 was 2100 ms points. That was £13 at the time, which is about 20 bucks I believe. Ish

And I'll bite their hand off for it. Love me a Porsche. If I had the means in real life I'd have one of these

2016 GT3 RS

Maybe that colour although classic white is hard to beat

Or I'd make a livery in FM6 for it and have it applied to my real one :D

In case you're wondering, I'm really looking forward to the Porsche dlc

Oaah, beauty! Shucks.. would be hard-pressed not to get the Porsche pack.

Car pass all the way. You can save up a lot rather than purchasing separaye packs. I learned this the hard way in Forza 4. The only separate pack is F&F which is also worth getting.

I would stay away from VIP pack. All it is is reskinned cars. Much like the blue cars from GT6. Pointless in my opinion.

EDIT: I didn't realize the VIP pack were unique cars. I do have that pack and it is worth it as well. You don't get much but they are pretty awesome cars. The GT350 takes the cake though. But if for now you can only choose one, that has to be the pass. More stuff for less.

So yeah, I don't really know what these Forza Livery cars are. Those are not really worth it.

Are the F7 DLC cars upgradable? Do they sound any different, i.e. Walker's Supra or Skyline? Can you boost them further or are there caps on the HP and other parts as well? Ah... such a curious one I am. :D

The F&F cars are unique. The Supra does sound a bit different. The Skyline has the same regular R34 sound. However, it's worth mentioning that they have unique turbo and BOV sounds (extremely loud and obnoxious just like in the movie). They also have their own interiors. You can upgrade them and even change their color, wheels and liveries (quite pointless, in my humble opinion).

I have to say these cars are already VERY fast. With 700hp, the Supra will easily go over 200mph out-of-the-box. It doesn't drive too good though; just goes fast in straight line. The Skyline is in the mid 500hp range but that thing is great for track driving. Also, Paul's Supra is fully Forzavista ready, which I find very nice!

I have Paul's Eclipse too. Not too bad. Has it's own engine and BOV sound, but they went lazy in the interior. It's just the plain Eclipse inside.

And remember you get not only these, but the Fairlady Z32, the pink S2000 (without the livery, but you can find it on the community liveries) and at least another 4 cars from other movies.

Good bits on the F&F cars there. :D 👍

I hear that - but can you boost the Skyline and Supra further? The game's regular Supra goes over 900 HP which is pretty neat but a maxed out R34 Skyline hovers somewhere around 700 HP, even though in F4 it could go close to 1000 HP.

Same goes for the Fairlady Z32 and S2000...you can boost em? I guess my motivation for getting this pack is if these cars are faster after max upgrades than their regular in-game counterparts.

It's too bad the pack doesn't contain the other muscle cars like the new Charger (love the headlights on that), Dom's Charger, and those two gorgeous muscle cars based on the 426-hemi engine. I guess those can only be purchased in one of the Horizon 2 packs.... dohh, stupid marketing tactics.. ! :irked:

I will have to check that. Will get back to you in a little bit since I just got home. I did get Suki's S2000 and to my surprise it has a massive centrifugal-type supercharger, instead of being turbocharged like it was heard in the movie (it's even modeled in Forzavista). I will try the Fairlady as well.

It's weird that Dom's original Charager is not in the game. Only his red Charger Daytona. You can push the in-game Charger up to nearly 900HP like Dom claimed his Charger made, but with no supercharger; only through the race V8 swap.

Alright. Edit: I just checked Paul's Supra and... holy mother of god... With all the upgrades (bigger turbo, etc) these are the numbers:

-1,236HP and 928 ft-lb of torque.

Not sure if the in-game Supra can reach these numbers (I keep mine at a healthy 400HP). First Supra in a game that I see is capable of what the car is in real life.

EDIT: OOPS! DP. Sorry mods.

EDIT 2: So, the F&F Fairlady Z33 is interesting. It is Twin Turbo, has it's own unique sound and can be converted to NA. Judging by it getting to 555HP with the TT upgrade, I would imagine it might go up to the upper 600HP range. Don't like the car though. Stock interior and it drives kind of odd, maybe because it's tuned for drift.

Suki's S2000 cannot be turbocharged. You can upgrade the Supercharger and add all the other engine upgrades. I imagine it gets to around 500HP (it's 330HP without upgrades).

Didn't want to upgrade it because it then it locks Forzavista and you can only open the doors. Had to buy a new F&F Supra because even if you take all the upgrades off, Forzavista stays locked.

Just spent some time with the F&F cars. My thoughts:

The S2000 is beautiful to drive after max upgrades. So is Paul's Skyline; it goes over 1000 HP and I would recommend not changing any of the suspension set ups.

The C2 Vette sounds absolutely gorgeous (a dream to drive) as does the Daytona Charger. The big truck-like Charger can also be upped to about 1000 horses, though I don't like driving it with the huge tires and all.. wish they had included Dom's 900 HP Charger instead.

Will be boosting the 350Z and Supra and see how they drive. They've gotten the sound nicely on these DLC cars.. all cars should have gotten this level of love!

The Eclipse has the standard interior though.. wth!? The tuner cars in this pack all have NOS.. funny how the game doesn't simulate that. The Daytona's cockpit view is a little zoomed in don't you think?

Nice that you got them! I haven't tried the Daytona, the Corvette, the Escort and the off-road Charger yet. I did try that huge military thing and oh boy... I thought it would drive kind of normal since games usually don't simulate the weight too well, but this thing does feel like driving a war ship. Makes the Hummer feel like a Mini Cooper XD Useless vehicle, but I will never object to the developers adding them.

The NOS thing is true. I'm sure that if Forza had it, these cars would replicate it well. Although I don't think they will, it would be nice to have a second pack for all those iconic cars left behind: Dom's RX7, the almost non-recognizable RX-7 from F&F3, Dom's 900HP blown Charger, one of the black Civics from the first movie among others.

Oh yes, heck yes to F&F pack no.2!

Honestly, they can charge any price and I would be getting the Porsche DLC pack. No questions. However, along with the 991 RS, I hope we see some older 911s that have never been in Forza before. I'm thinking 964 and 993 RS. PLEASE.

Sorry to get off topic. Anticipation for Porsche pack is killing me.
