Just so people don't get discouraged, setup can gain you alot of time. I gained a full second by changing just the downforce settings. The setups provided are very fast USE THEM :D If you're really struggling turning good times don't be stubborn like me and start from scratch, use the baselines :P My setup still has me stuck in the mid 33's after like 4 hours of adjustments.

I used my own setup..... I think it's good. I think I will post it but I think most will say it likes understeering to much. I just like this car pushing in the corners.

The biggest time saver for me was shifting at the redline, last season we had to let the car rev past the redline but not now.
I will need to try the base setup. It's probably better. Maybe I can get down to a low 32.

I used the other ones, I got 1.35xx and 1.36.xx
Then I used default (max downforce) and i got 1.33.07

Lol I wasn't actually referring to your times, your setup is obviously quick :) I was referring to people who might still be running 35's :p

The supercharger really changed the torque curve, I wish we could do a bit more intensive tuning to work on the dyno curve...

At this point, I'm removing the front toe I have with my setup. It's definitely geared toward a slow-in, fast-out approach but it induces SO much turn-in understeer with the draft, it's not worth it. Back to the drawing board.

You should try aiming for the thread with the most posts on GTP racing series! :D But with this you wont get it :(

Default for me was 33.9.... I don't know how you pulled a 1.33 stock, great job 👍
I was driving like I normally do  Smooth like Jenson when turning in, but use the power to balance the car and point it out. I just found it easy and quicker than then the other setups given

The two tunes posted are max downforce....well one is the other is damn close.

I was running max downforce, changed the gearbox a bit and the rest was default
Just couldnt get the other setups to work for me

I don't practice in lounges anymore, because I have a sneaking suspicion that the physics are different.

Eeeek moving to real room will post up number :p

I can't confirm it, but I was testing the GT4 Cup cars for my enduro race tomorrow in my lounge and they were acting funny, so I went into an actual online room and they were fine. Maybe my lounge is screwy?

Safety Car periods may arise for major incidents like spins, major wrecks, or where a heavily damaged car is having trouble getting to pit road.
For these types of incidents, the Race Director signals "SAFETY CAR" in the message box, the current race leading car is expected to slow their speed to 50mph. (80kph)
The remaining cars in the field will then catch up to the leader and remain in a single file line. Be careful of the cars around you!
Warming of tires during the safety car period is allowed. If for some reason you lose control of your car and spin while warming your tires, you will be instructed to line up at the rear of the field.
Safety car periods can last from 1 to 2 laps, depending on the incident.
Pit-stops are allowed during a safety car period. When re-entering the track, line up behind the rear-most car in line.
If all cars pit under caution, the first car out of pit road will become the "safety car".
The first car one or more lap(s) down will have a chance to get one (x1) of those laps back during this period.
When given the "OK to Restart" signal, the leader will then re-start the race at the start/finish line.
This.

2:32-33. any were in that range is what I'm hitting.
I think a 32 flat or a high 31 could be done with a good setup, and skill or in my case luck.

I got a 2:32.6, but to my disappointment, I found I was on Racing Hards. :(

Think I got a 2:35 on Sports

Just type it out normally and I'll convert it over to the sheet.

Thanks, I will post it later tonight.

The same think happened to me over at ORCA.
I had spent a full day practicing on the wrong tires. I feel your pain.

Think my best lap so far was 2'33.3 which isn't great but I don't think I was that fast at Spa last season. Anyway hopefully get it down to 2'32 as looking at the drivers signed up it's going to be hard just to qualify
