If outlaw didn't know, I will need fancy graphics.

I pretty much botched that corner on both my Q runs because I honestly didn't know what was considered dirty. :dunce:

Maybe we should have asked before making runs? :sly:

Obviously two tires on the pavement is the only way.

Hey, I was on a groove last night. Too bad the car decided it was going to push like a donkey at T11 when it hadn't done so in my mock runs. Like I had a shot at pole anyways since my best laps come at Lap 4. :indiff:

That's essentially what I follow no matter what league I'm running in. That's why I rarely get poles.

I thought rumble strips are track? And if you have 2 tires riding on the white line is that clean (Right on top, not over)?

Can someone that's on right now take a nice little picture of that corner for me?

And that would be dirty.

Outlaw's lap was without a doubt clean last night, he went wide at 11,(entering) and didn't even touch the inside rumble at all.
He probably could have turned it into a 39 flat with a perfect turn 11.

Car - It's usually white lines and rumbles, which usually includes running stupidly wide onto the oval, which would cost you time anyway. :p

Thank you sir, and yes as long as you have two wheels on or outside that rumble strip your golden. 👍

OK, just like I thought. Thanks Wardez, I was worried my lap somehow were all dirty because I used the same track as outlaw.

Based on that interpretation, even times where I thought I was dirty last night was, in fact, clean. Wonderful. :irked:

But that is standard GTP rules Rich. It would be the way I'd expect it to be unless otherwise stated. Need to find some seat time, so heading to the practice room now.

Per the rules in the op, two tires within the white lines that line both sides of the track, which extends to include the rumble strips in the corners.

Basically the white line "steps up" to the top edge of the rumble strip.

Duly noted for future reference. 👍

I think that's the last time I'll Q early, though. :indiff:

Didn't I already explain that to you?

Granted, but the rule's making more sense* with more examples.

* Sense does not imply approval

I left practice room, but it still going strong.

outlaw and carracer still have the room.

I ended up having him watch my show and then we went karting the next day at Pole Position. He's (and his friend) are fast in real life too xD.

Good luck to every one in the race tonight. Update the Twitter yeah!?

Yeah, was great to meet up with Eddie while we were in Vegas! Great of him to get us into his Show at Bally's and we enjoyed some karting too.

Great weekend, just got to get back in the groove for Indy now as I could really do with a good result. Early laps in Gravy's room today yielded a 1'38.6, with a bit still to find before I qualify.

Is anyone around?

I've just managed a 1'41.448, I know there is still a little time out there for me to eek out.

Just came out of a room.
My new BP is 1:38.431 on lap 3 I know I can hit that time on lap 2 tires :) .
I actually had a lap 1 with .2 better sectors than my .4 but I messed up the turn going onto the long straight. I think I could get a 38.0 now, you really can make/lose time at this track keeping the car right on the apex's.

Room open:

Room closed.

After a few practice races, I am not looking forward to this weekend. Two draft-fests I have to run which means double the chance I get plowed into. :ouch:

Opening a room if anyone is still up Closed. Will probably only be up for 30 minutes to 1 hr.
