Yeah I'm gonna do my JGTS quali. right after my RX-7 quali. so Steve and I will probably get both done right now.

By the way guys. How do we actually qualify for this round? 4-lap system is a bit too much, right? How do we do it?

JGTS style? Or 1 whole lap? Need info please! :)
 
I went over the left white line on entry at end of the Mulsanne straight; close to the sand trap. This was by pure habit since it is legal elsewhere... but clearly outside the white line. I should have thought about that and checked it before, if deemed dirty I will happily accept last spot on the grid.
 
I already mentioned it in the thread. 1 full flyer.

And yeah, cicuas lap was dirty. Add 5 seconds to that.

Really don't know how I managed to secure pole, since my quali. lap was literally my 5th lap ever with the car st Sarthe, but I'm happy.

I'm uploading the capture of Mule's run so you can check the lap (since I was the only one able to save it).

Eddie, what's MRC? This is the RX7C. :)

But yeah, if that lap turns out to be dirty, I wont be impressed. La Sarthe is pretty much the only track where I can actually keep up with you guys.

Honestly with the drafting on this track, starting position doesn't really mean much. And with how hectic it's going to be at the start, I honestly would rather be at the back.
 
Yeah I havent done a lap yet but F:censored:K Mule was hitting 192 on his own thats faster than any Super GT by miles, draft all the way down the Mulsane could give you 200mph+ :scared:.
 
But I wont be at the back. I'll be hosting the room and not racing, because there's 10 qualified so far, I'm 2nd last, and I know at least Litchi and Scanny are still going to qualify.

Last night in a 6 lap race, I think we only hit 199, with VERY short blips in the 200MPHs.
 
I know it's a stupid question but... where's the qualifying spreadsheet? Tonight's been hectic. Still haven't been able to practice :(
 
GV you and me both ive still to qualify for this, without any previous laps here :lol:. (Watching Mules quali vid gave me a good idea of what to do though, thanks :D)
 
Usually I just leave the RX7 practicing for saturday nights. But usually I qualify early on saturday for PURE JGTS... today it didn't happen, and I got a load of work. And here I am!! Haha.
 
Yeah, starting position hardly matters once you're on the straight but I still go for pole every race.

It'll be an interesting race for sure though with all the tire order possibilities.
