I couldnt join but I could try again but since im 2nd last and hate this track seeing 14 people in and Mule saying he wont race ill just sit it out also ..
 
Meh I had no trouble getting into the Pure room and had 0 lag so :sly:. (Ill come out fighting for Le Sarthe count on it ;))

But RT theres not alot I can do ive complained since I was atleast 13/14 about AOLs crappyness and that we should get Sky broadband or BT broadband but ive allways got "yeah ok, ill do it when im not busy" EssentialyI got totaly ignored :rolleyes:... 5/6 years on and theyve still not found a day that they werent "busy" to do it :banghead:.
 
I doubted I was going to race this one anyway, I despise SSR5.

I don't know if I'll like this kind of race in this car or not, I have to race another week to find out. :p
 
The track has 2 uses

1. Races with very lowered cars i.e RTs S1, S2 FMSC Mx5s or something like shuffle races and not for a car as powerful and understeery as this.

2. Drifting, not much to say its medium to low speed, tight corners just suit drifting imo :p.

Le Sarthe next week should suit this car down to the ground so im looking forward to Le Sarthe for once even with its draft fest-ness.
 
Sorry guys, I'm parked in the pits. I'm really not in a good day today. Nurb...SSR5...ouch. I definitely hate these tracks :(
 
Another dc for me, this time on the 21st lap. Really was looking forward to this series but with 2 Dc's in a row and not being able to race next week I am withdrawing from this.

Sad to see you go, but I completely understand. I'll let you know when I start up another series. You have the pace and you're very clean. Just the type of guy we want.
 
Next series S3 Integras!! :sly: or S2 IS F as you, Wardez and RT speak very highly of it :).
 
I will be back for Le Sarth, IMHO the best track here for this overpowered car 👍

Frankly, I want to do Lexus Season 2, but I figured I'd probably talk to RT/Wardez first, since they ran the first one.

Integra Season 3 is definitely in the future. I also want to do a Camaro RM Series some time.

^^ That is the best RM in the game for me, I have a great tune for it and there is nothing like beating new cars with it.
And the sound is 10/10.
 
Cliff notes from my race:

- Qualified in 5th, started the race on Hard compound tires.
- Promptly dropped to 6th on the start since CSL got a better start.
- Got passed by cicua in turn 4 for 7th. Tried to gas it too early out of that corner and lost the back of the car, dropped to 12th.
- Hauled ass the rest of the race and clipped outlaw at the line for 2nd.
- End.

I think he means the 2010 one Carracer ;). He tried to make a series with it stock with aero but it never took off :( and he ran the 2010 RM Camaro in the 2.4 hour Daytona race :p, all leads me to believe its the 2010 one hes on about :sly:.
 
I loved this track apart from the pit exit. On my second stop, a gaggle of cars were coming through as I exited right into what I would've made a three way battle for 10th or 11th with Owens and Grayfox. I went wide to give the gaggle room, and ended up piledriving a part of the wall where it sticks out and spun right into the racing line. Tried to get out of the way, but force feedback decided to put me right back into the wall, on the racing line, in a blind spot. Cicua t-boned me at full tilt. It happened so quick I never actually saw his name, just a green car. That pretty much ruined my race.

At least AJ won the Rolex 24.

Car felt great throughout the race, and I was able to have a race without any mistakes for the first time in months :D. I was expecting it to be much harder but the car was the way I wanted it to be. 👍

Looking forward for Le Mans.

That would be fun. I race with a couple guys that run that combo, you can make the cars even and have very....very close finishes. Hence why I already have mine tuned :sly:

I started 8th and ended 4th, can only complain that I did not do a better qualifier.

At least I got best lap, 17.1 on lap 24-25 when I was trying to escape from RT - I was so determined not to let him into my draft!

(Instead he got me on strategy, pitting extremely early for last stint :banghead:)

LancerEvo I watched the replay of our crash, it is really odd how your car just sticks to the wall. I saw traffic coming out of the pit on the map, so I kept to the right, which got me a more straight line into the U-turn, but that just meant I could neither steer left or right around you. Bad things just happen.

I was right behind that by the way. Think I was coming out of the pits when I saw a car sideways right before cicua t-boned it. I escaped trouble going around the right side.

Also managed to avoid the accident on the first lap. Think is was GrayFox that hit the wall and spun going into the tunnel?

Yeah, I tapped the wall pulling out, force feedback turned the wheel right, and the back end slid right around. It was pretty weird. It was aggravating too.

EDIT: ^Owens did on lap one, Grayfox on lap two. I barely missed both.
 
Yeah I couldn't really see with all the smoke. All I knew was there was a spinning car on the left, so I went right. :lol:
