[Biffy]

A series that makes use of PD's tribute to one of the most glorious cars to emerge from the late 80s/early 90s era. A true Japanese stalwart, this is more a GT car than a TC, with a wealth of Horsepower to choose from and good handling to boot, it will take skill, lots of practice, and copious amounts of bravery to achieve victory with this car. Can you tame this silver-badged beast?

Hmm, I remembered this morning that Aderrrm's GT4 timeslot (Saturday 16:00 GMT) is currently available so is also a possibility if he hasn't got anything planned, although I'd make it a bit later, say race starts at 18:00 GMT.. we'll see. I can't add a poll choice so see below if this would be your preferred timeslot. And the series probably will start much sooner than June, if I get enough interest in the next few days I'll see about getting a main thread up and organising a pre-season race for next week.

Important Note: If you would prefer the Saturday timeslot for racing (14:00 - 19:00 GMT), please state so in the thread. Hopefully anybody who plans to 'vote' will see this post first. I will count up these 'votes' at a later date.

Actually I think MULE did it in his RX-7 TC spec series, although I may be mistaken. It's something I considered, although I'd like to keep the series as simple as possible... Something I am considering to allow though is no mandatory pitstops.

Yes, Mule did do the two tire (hards and mediums) in the RX7 cup. So I don't see why it can't be done. Besides it was a question and all this 'we are pure' is great, but no need to be rude.

Sweet! There's definitely no issue with interest here so I'm going to start planning out the main thread and get it ready for sometime next week
Don't forget to vote in the poll if you haven't already done so, gives me a good idea of the best day/time for this series 👍 One thing is for sure though, we won't be racing at 11PM Eastern Time, I'll be fast asleep by then

About 7-10 rounds, probably 8. The schedule is going to be more lenient on Japanese tracks, with occasional tracks from other countries. So right now, in no particular order, my track list is:

Because it's being setup soon for S4. Also no date yet so they'll probably clash.

What time? Or what were S3's times? If it's something manageable I can work around it - We only need 2 hours at most for the timeslot (1 hour for practice, although drivers will only need to be in the room by 10 to the hour) and maybe an extra hour for one or two 2-hour races, although that is something I will work out later on.

Forgot to add one track - an unnamed custom one. If I can actually create a track with some realism and not too many ridiculous corners, we will be going with the Mt Aso theme. Otherwise it'll be Toscana.

Edit: Just checked the BST challenge. If they stick with 7 or maybe 7:30pm (although that will be a squeeze), then I will have the races at 9pm BST, or 20:00GMT.
