Steve, what a great idea! I worry if the timing might be a bit unlucky since the interested people might be a bit busy with the Die Hards already. Hence the fantastic Porsche series that died a untimely and unworthy death.

Also at Brands Hatch you were 7 seconds per lap faster than me in my Legends Series Mk.1. I ve run enough races against you to know that I dont stand a chance against you in the least bit and your upgrades are probably different but I dont wanna be humiliated. :ouch:

So the verdict: I m in, if there is enough interest. But maybe this would be better to be had after the Die Hards Series. We still have a lot of time to cover until C.A.R.S. ya kno...

Fine by me. Either on Saturdays (except this one) or after the TT's.

I'm also available on weekdays after 9pm (to be sure I can make it)

Who can remind me about the time it takes to do a decent lap around Brands Hatch in a D class Escort Mk1?

I might join but not now yet. For now i can only focus my energy on my several Shift 2 projects and Diehards TT.
 
Thanks Rom, just did some escort runs with hondy and we run bumper to bumper without spinning has there been some online maintenance?? :)👍

I think it depends on the cars, number of them and lag between the participants.

I would say any fast cars race would be a mess but we already prove otherwise.

We also touched doors at Brands Hatch and nothing happened. Likewise in Dubai in GT1 cars...

Its a good bet to stop everything net related, reboot the router 10m before the race, use cable instead of wireless and mute online chat to have the best possible connection between all.

Although, chit-chat is way better than writing (even with a keyboard)

I'll try to be online later tonight but with 3h sleep I really don't know how I'll drive :D
