I have the PWTS wheel with the standard pedals, recently updated to FW 681. I first noticed an issue in Forza 3 after the update where I was unable to get WOT quite often. I solved this in Forza 3 by setting the outside dead zone in the game a bit higher and it seemed fine afterwards.

Tonight in GT5 I noticed that I was slower than the other cars on Daytona by about 7 MPH or so when no draft occuring. Later I noticed that on one lap around Lemans I was getting 202 MPH and on the next I was getting 207. I looked at the datalogger and sure enough I was not getting the WOT at times even though I was full on the throttle.

There seems to be no deadzone settings in GT5 and if there is one on the wheel menu I have not recognized it as of now.

Anyone with any insight here? I love the wheel but I need to be able to consistanty open the throttle all the way when racing.

The problem I've been having is the break pedal will partial engage (or so says the game) hindering my acceleration. Then the breaks won't fully engage when I need them too.

I was having some issues with the brake when I had firmware 613 but after the update to 681 the brakes are fine now. The throttle on the other hand is not quite there. Was driving Suzuka on Forza 3 a few nights ago. On the back straight I was getting different results on different laps. Sometimes I would get up to 119 MPH other times I would get 117 MPH and sometimes only 114 MPH. When I tryed with the controller I was hitting the rev limiter at 124 MPH every time. After changing the deadzone for the throttle in game I was able to hit 124 everytime with the wheel as well but there is no dead zone setting in GT5 for this so I need a different solution.
