I have the PWTS wheel with the standard pedals, recently updated to FW 681. I first noticed an issue in Forza 3 after the update where I was unable to get WOT quite often. I solved this in Forza 3 by setting the outside dead zone in the game a bit higher and it seemed fine afterwards.
Tonight in GT5 I noticed that I was slower than the other cars on Daytona by about 7 MPH or so when no draft occuring. Later I noticed that on one lap around Lemans I was getting 202 MPH and on the next I was getting 207. I looked at the datalogger and sure enough I was not getting the WOT at times even though I was full on the throttle.
There seems to be no deadzone settings in GT5 and if there is one on the wheel menu I have not recognized it as of now.
Anyone with any insight here? I love the wheel but I need to be able to consistanty open the throttle all the way when racing.
