It seems like whenever there's a post on "How do I win ??? Championship...I keep getting smoked!" there's always answering posts pshawing it and saying they won it with ease with cars of varying power/handling. Did those of you who won these races easily use qualifying (practice) runs to be able to beat the top car, skill, or a combination of both?
To aid those who haven't figured out qualifying: The screen where you choose whether to race A-Spec or B-Spec...the third option is "Practice". If you choose prcatice, you start by coming out of the pit stop and running a lap...the second lap, the timer starts and you can run as many laps as you want/need. If there's a plus (blue) number after a full lap, you can quit practice and when you officially start the race, you'll be in the pole position rather than in sixth. Your tires are also replaced at the beginning of the race, so you don't have to worry about them being worn down by the extra laps.
