Hey all I want to ask if anyone else on here has the same experience with qualifying as I do for daily races.
I’ll try and explain this as best I can.
So I jump into a daily race qualifying time trail. I’ll put in a ok lap getting to know the car. Let’s say a 1:25.678, after about 5 or 6 more laps I’ll get it down to a 1:24.479.
Now I’ll continue to lap for another 15 or 20 sometimes 30 more times and hover around the same time 1:24.7, 1:24.5, 1:24.5. I’m braking at the same points just trying to carry a little more speed each time, you know what I’m saying. Anyway can’t crack that 1:24.479 so you give up and jump into a race. Now here’s where it get interesting.
So I do 1 or 2 races and realise I need a better qualifying time I’m starting in 6th,7th,10th. So I jump back into qualifying and try again still the same 1:24.7 ect ect.
Then BAM!!! Out of nowhere a 1:23.567. Now I changed absolutely nothing in regards to braking or getting on the throttle or the lines I have tried 20 time before hand. So how did I shave a full second??
This is an anomaly that always happens every week. Some how it feels like you could sit there for hours in qualifying and get nowhere but the moment you complete a race you time improves. This is strange and leaves a rather large question in my head about the game. How legitimate is this game? You can just smash a 1 sec chunk when you essentially did nothing different to what you have tried 100 times before.
Does anyone else experience this? Why does the car all of a sudden become more agile and responsive after doing you first few races? But is doey and cumbersome initially.
